I've used both SiteGround and Namecheap. For the same price range as SiteGround, I prefer WPEnginge.

I had some clients that were not paying me anymore and their hosting was due to end. Since I'm a nice guy, I've purchased the cheapest hosting I could find - in this case, Namecheap, the same provider where I buy domains. To my surprise, the support was excellent, they did all the migration, installed SSL etc. For less than 50$/year. The performance of the website is not bad although there's room for more. And I have more flexibility than on other hosting platforms (A2Hosting or DreamHost).
