I have been using namecheap hosting for about 5 years. Hvnt had issues with them until now. Go ahead with Namecheap OP

If you will get daily 2K (2000) traffic site will gone well but more than it for sure you will get ping on your site. I have used and when i arrived to do daily more than 2K (2000) trafic site just started to work slowly If you decide to take lots of traffic daily go buy "VPS Server" no matter where you will buy.

Worth a shot, personally I would get hosting with a company that specializes in it...for domains Godaddy and Namecheap work well, not sure on hosting.
