Definitely worth the $1 price but I wouldn't buy it for regular price. Especially when it comes to hosting my money sites.

I have used it and its fine. Its like $10 a month. Should be okay for starter sites.

They usually have very cheap plans for first year. It's definetly worth it, as it's lower than $1/month. Quality is decent.
