Hello everyone !

Is namecheap having a lot of down time today ? My users are flooding my facebook with "Site is not loading"

Anyone having this problem ?

NOPE, my servers are fine (just checked).

Just got this message from them

"Thank you for waiting. According to my check, we have a slight downtime on our servers. Sorry for the inconveniences. At the moment, the issue is fixed and everything is working correctly."

Change that host for a better one, I mean you may try hostingsource.com and qhoster.com.
Good and reliable to have a deal with.

I noticed some issues, too, but it seems to be fixed now.

Namecheap is for domains. Take other hosting

I have a couple sites there and no problem at all today

Had about 30 minutes of downtime on a VP I had with them this morning (10:40-11:10 EST), same time as their support went down.

They will have several downtimes per year, and speed is slow and not stable, yeah but consider the money, I won't complain lol.

NameCheap is always good working but You can always get in touch with their Live Chat agents for the prompt assistance if you have any hosting problem.

The issue with site loading can be not only on the side of web hosting provider. It also can be on the side of your network provider or ISP. In such cases better ask someone from other location to check if your web site is loading or not.

Why you ask here? You should contact Namecheap support, not us. They are the only responsable for fix that or check what is happening, we can't do anything related with that, sorry but that is the truth.

Also, consider your website is using excessive resources usage and does down for that reason, so be careful and check if is using too much or not, if is using a lot you should move it to a VPS.
Or consider switch to a VPS for better performance and resources usage. Shared is limited and like the name says, Resources is SHARED with others.

Contact namecheap support. As far as I know Namecheap good for domain but I don't know about their hosting.
