If you're using shared hosting then you're just moving from one over-sold server to another over-sold server. If you care enough about your hosting then get some sort of VPS.

Depend upon your requirement seriously, what is your expectations you can find something for that. I usually uses vps from contabo or something similar for my projects.

Exactly. Both are shit. Add Hostinger to that list as well.
I suggest you look for a provider from here on the marketplace or get a VPS from DigitalOcean or Vultr.

unfortunately, I don't think we have many (if any) providers of shared hosting left as most / all of them are trying to screw the customer over in various ways (hidden fees, doubled / tripled renewals, forced arbitration, AI customer "support", lack of transparency, free SSL that's not really free, resource throttling, etc).
Had I not known what is going on I would have said that mankind had collectively lost its sanity....
Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that most (if not all) of the companies are batshit crazy nowadays, so I don't think you'll find a single company that's not gone insane already, and GoDaddy is the daddy of them all, so I obviously don't recommend them. GoDaddy have been screwing people over long before companies were even knowing that it's possible to screw us over... I remember getting wrecked by GoDaddy twice within a week around 2010, so yeah... more than 15 years ago they were being the undisputed master of all scammers
Also, last year I've contacted 20 hosters that I found in google (others than the usual Namecheap, Hostinger, Siteground, etc) and - with the exception of 1 or 2 of them - everyone else have been having issues of some kind (at least according to the stuff that I NEED / WANT to see in a hosting provider), so - in case you were considering using any of these hosters, I don't recommend them....

host25cent.com ....... also no replies (I've also contacted them 3 times in 2 different ways, haven't heard of them even until today lol)

asurahosting.com/hosting ........ no support again
satisfyhost.com/1-dollar-web-hosting .... no support, also expensive for my taste for what they were offering based on my needs
setrahost.com .... they DEMAND your personal details, they're actually a data mining company hidden behind hosting services
namecrane.com ...... data miners too (they've refunded me few seconds after I had placed order, just because I didn't want to give them my phone and address)
cybrancee.com/web-hosting.php ...... they've advertised the plan I wanted to buy at $10, but right before clicking on "purchase" they would increase the price to $100 (very scumbaggy)
dihost.io/hosting ..... hmm, I have no feedback for these guys, I think they're one of the 2-3 hosters that looked decent, but which haven't met my technical requirements of that time (like, they weren't allowing to add more than 1-2 domains, or their inodes number had been too low, etc... I don't remember why I've not given them negative feedback, but it's probably because of limited stuff for their starter plan)
domainindia.com ..... again, no feedback... probably one of the few hosters that I've considered but - for whatever reasons - I've decided not to use them, I also don't remember whether I've contacted them or not, so do your own diligence if you want to use these companies for which I can't provide feedback

limitlesshost.net .... these are the only ones that I've been OK with, and they've ended up being my current hosting provider (they don't look very compelling, I know, but I've run out of options and had to find a host in the next 2 days, so I chose these guys in the end, but I'm only using them to host my only domain that I have - which I don't even use by the way - so I can't say how good or bad their hosting is, but they do have decent customer support... well, at least they've fixed my issues twice, even if it took them up to 12 hours to respond)
hostdive.com ..... the plan that I wanted to buy from them was out of stock LMAO.... Yeah, I know, virtual stuff going out of stock, how is this possible? Well, apparently it is possible
centriohost.com ...... haven't contacted them (I think, I don't remember) because their prices were too high for me back then
simplesonic.com ..... they've marked my order as fraud because I refused to give them my personal data (phone, ZIP code, etc)... also, if you're not bothered by this like I am, you can use this code - WHT40OFF - for a whooping 40% off on all plans... I think...
hostycare.com .... they've tried to charge me 3x the price that they display on their homepage... at least that was the case in November 2024 when I tried them, I don't know if they still do this, but you can check for yourselves....
softshellweb.com/shared-hosting ....... contacted them twice within 1 week but they've never replied (yes, not even today)
site.eu/web-hosting .... I don't think that I've contacted them, I honestly don't remember, but I was bothered by the fact that they let you have 25 websites but you can only have 10 email accounts. Like, WTF?!? Even if you need only 1 standard email per site ([email protected]) you still need at least 25 email addresses at the minimum, so yeah... it's only $6 per year, but the email addresses limit had really pissed me off, probably that's why I haven't contacted them anymore...
So yeah, aside from a few that I've either not contacted, or that I've ended up using (as is the case with Limitlesshost.net) pretty much everyone on this list is a no-no if you want a company that bothers replying to you.
These being said, I have used HostKoala in the past (up until 2 years ago I think... damn, time flies... it feels like it was last year but it's actually 2 years since I've stopped using HK)... and I've personally not had problems with them. I think I've stopped using them because of the cost. I mean, I was paying $50 per year, which is peanuts for most of you, guys, but for me it was expensive since I don't own websites anymore, I only have 1 domain that I keep only to use its email addresses, and for this I only need the storage and the cheapest of the cheap hosting, so yeah... HostKoala might still be an option for you.
Also, I remember one of the forum mods (I don't remember who it was, sorry), had recommended HostArmada about 1-2 years ago, and - unless proven otherwise - I assume that HA is one of the decent hosters, so you might want to give them a try if you feel adventurous
So yeah, other than these, I don't think we have too many options left as every company out there, big and small, is hellbent on screwing us over so even if you do find one that seems good, expect to be rekt at any time

Detail what you're trying to host. If it is just HTML you can and should host it directly on a CDN. If it's anything else get your own VPS
