Name & Namecheap Amazing domain transferring process

This is hilarious I have this domain ( actually were my maindomain ) I was planning to transferring it weeks ago but I didn't have enough fund on my Namecheap account ,
until today when I open my name account I found out my domain about to expire at the ends of the day , ~ 18 hours until it expired , I was't want to take chance and try to transferring/renewing it after it expired , so I start transferring procedures immediately , after I place my order on Namecheap and use authorization code , the process stock with "Awaiting release from previous registrar" , message which take couple of hours without change , I contact to name live chat and ask them how to speedup the process , I receive replay fro the support agent asked me to send my request via email since automatic process may take 5 day (lol) .
I sent the transferring request email and when I login to my account I saw new message to approve the transferring or cancel it ,
after I approve it withing 3.5 hour I got transferring confirmation message from Namecheap telling me my domain successfully transferred and it registered until May 2020 .

Don't get it. You can transfer recently expired domain without an issue. As a matter of fact its usually not a good idea to transfer a newly registered or newly renewed domain. Also some registrars renew it at the cost of the transfer

I didn't renew my domain before transferrer since I transfer it one day before it expired so I don't have to pay renew fees twice

The transfer fee typically includes an extra year on the registration, regardless of how much time is left before the transfer. So if you had renewed the domain on the outgoing registrar, the expiration would have been May 2021.

5 days is good. I don't want to name names, but there are other registars make you wait 7 days...

what's about 5 Hours instead since I done transfer process on less than 5 hours .
