-1, name.com has one of the best admin panels and that's important. Last month I registered a new domain with another registrar and their panel is not as good as name.com's
A bad (or not-so-good) panel takes more time to operate, makes you less productive which in the end means your losing money.
Don't underestimate a good panel, it gives you less headaches and makes you more productive.
