name.com or godaddy ?

I have not had problems in getting a domain. Com. the maintenance cost is low and I brought many benefits
 
well I'm using Godaddy but only for domains, i've about 30 domains there and still have no problems with them
 
I use namecheap exclusively, they haven't given a reason yet for me to change.
 
I've had domains at godaddy for longer than I can even remember. In that time I've never had an issue with them.

However, their actions made me want to leave. From stripping the Whois Guard off domains because someone called pretending to be a lawyer (with no notice to the domain owner) to Parsons latest blog posts talking about how torture at guantanamo is a good thing at the top of godaddy.com, to the ridiculous TV commercials it all left a bad taste in my mouth. Hey, I like tits as much as the next guy, but what exactly are they trying to say with the pandering silicon bimbos?

I started moving to namecheap and have had no problems.

I just looked at name.com and it doesn't appear to have a reseller API. FAIL. I'm in the process of using namecheap's API to automate my domain registration through the administrative dashboard I'm writing. If I have to go to name.com's site to manage my domains, that's a non starter.
 
I always use name dot com these days. With the coupon codes it's about the cheapest out there, plus the interface is very clean, simple and fast. Never had a problem with them.

Godaddy's control panel is a sick joke. And the company has been earning more and more black marks for sleazy activities lately.
 
Namecheap all the way even if there .info's cost a bit more, you still get free private whois!
 
I know it's not in the choices, but I'm using Internet.bs - $6.95 for .COM + free whois privacy.

I'm using them for a year now, and no problems yet.
 
I've always used Godaddy and never had a single issue with them. But I use coupon codes that I've collected to save money. If you're registering dot coms, try RRTV7 to get them for $7.49. Plus you can use the code for renewals or transfers as well.

You will encounter no problems with Namecheap. Maybe little expensive over Godaddy, but well worth it.
 
name.com i dislike, i bought 4 domains from them. 4 months they shut my account down because ONE PAYMENT didn't accept. So they wanted me to pay $40 to get my account back.
