N00b Question: Auto blog for 'niche'

I am interested in building a site that will focus on Wordpress. I hope to include useful articles, appropriately categorized, training videos, news, etc etc. I wanted this to be done through an AutoBlog plugin being fed to SEO researched categories.

My question is two-fold, do you autoblog experts have any dos and don'ts before I get started? And, is autoblogging a tech-savvy industry a bad idea? Am I more likely to get banned even if the site looks good, is useful and is well organized?

There are sites out that are effectively using autoblogging tools. No matter what you need to include original content, that is how you will keep the traffic coming to you.

Usually people get caught by Google when they post several posts a day when you effectively only need 2-3. Think about what you could post in a day and be reasonably.

There are several great autoblogging tools also WPRobot is in its 3rd edition and WPTurbo is another similar tool that offers 21 different content sources to choose from.

Yea watch out for the google hits... Also the panda (aka farmer) update has slapped down many of our methods on autoblogs.

I still use AB's and make some nice comms out of them, from Amazon and ebay, some adsense too. My one blog has around 26000 posts now and getting up to PR3 its PR 2 now...

Its all about the plugins There are many to choose from.
