Disclaimer: this is not an ebook/guide that you need to pay $99 for. It is free. Or is it?

Years ago when I didn't even knew what reddit is, I was reading here mostly.
And most comments were going like this: Reddit can get you tons of traffic, BUT the conversion is shit or non.

Fortunately this is myth... and a truth.
Let me explain.

It is a myth when:
  • you are in the right niche (most)
  • your posts/comments/accounts aren't shit
  • you offer value
  • you sound genuine
  • you don't spam
  • you offer/review good/awesome products/services
Is it true when:
  • you post in niches like meme/funny
  • you expect your promotional/spammy message to do miracles for your income
  • you expect adsense clicks to go wild
  • you post on subs like CMS that are spammed to death
  • you sell snake oil or any 'hit & run' products/services

Sure, there is spam that flies under the radar. But that is usually in niches like NSFW, crypto, etc.
However, most spam produces shit. You end up doing tons of harm for far too little to be justified IMO.

That is why I use to say this: grab an account, jump on reddit, use it as a regular user.

Jump on your favorite topics. In a few days... if you have any marketing skills you will start to notice how people interact on each subreddit.
You will see how hard or how soft your messages needs to be.

Also, interact (post, comment, offer value when you can).
This will build your account credibility. And when you post a decent promotional message, and someone checks your profile, you have better chances of being trusted.

Sure, you might get some accounts banned but take it as a part of learning and a way of staying away from spamming.

Nahh. Joking. Just hit like or better yet, leave a comment.

Reddit is my third favorite social media platform behind Instagram and Tik Tok.

Reddit traffic has always been good to me, but you definitely need to be aware of the meta of the subreddit that you're trying to promote in.

Agree with both. Got 2 sales from Reddit a month ago in a small niche. A lot of these guys don’t know how to add finesse to their comments or even do the work of building trust.

now question, how do I go around getting banned from a subreddit? I can’t even use that subreddit on a different account

Also trying to get Reddit traffic with upvotes buying.
I will make some king of journey thread on BHW soon and explain all the steps I use to get direct Reddit traffic.

Some subs are hard or impossible to crack. When they have strict mods 24/7 you will get banned pretty fast.

So get accustomed with the sub rules and their way. But if they won't allow a certain thing... don't waste your time trying to force it.

Also, some have higher requirements like age and karma. And not all will make the limits public.

reddit is very tought with spam nowadays, i made some money in the past by spamming clickbank offers on reddit, but alot account was burned

Reddit is a goldmine tbh. Most people don't realize how powerful it can be.

That is a good thing in my opinion. It is a way to have better educated clients.

Yep. Many are hunting for easy spam techniques with minimum to no work.

Same as BHW in SEO niche. If you have something of quality to offer you can make a killing here as well.

I've had some success with Reddit.

What type of products give you the best results? Affiliate? Memberships?

Do you make the majority of your sales off of a blog? Email list? or direct linking from reddit?

Well said but nothing knew.
Better if everyone stays away from Reddit :)

just make different accounts on different IPs. Then, you will be able to. Also, some subs have age or karma requirements.

i use reddit for fun (yeah, i will never make it) and every time i see someone slip some marketing smoothly into the first page of a middle-sized sub, it's always cool to see.
I once read a 300 word post on reddit just to find out that they were marketing something. I did not see that coming

If you act like you're honestly trying to help someone, it passes most red flags of Mods.

Reddit traffic is high quality but depends on your niche

Users need to understand their subreddit, engage with the community, know about all the subreddit-specific rules before marketing/promoting anything but instead, they just hop on Reddit and start spamming and will later say that Reddit isn't worth it.
It's good for us though.

Relax Karen.
I don't see the issue with letting somebody know what they are doing is against the rules. Better to be told this way, than reported?
I'm sorry that me making a passing comment was a trigger for your casual sexist racism.
