I havent started doing this yet because im waiting until i get 2000 friends.

Lets say i have a myspace account with at least 2000 friends

What i will be doing is sending myspace traffic to my blog which contain adsense ads.

I copy and paste a news article about barrack obama on my blog.

then i post a new bulletin that will take them to the blog post about obama.

since obama is a hot topic they will most likely click on the adsense ads

I'm sure you know but check out fri*endbl*asterpro to add friends quickly- if you dont already use it

the only issue I see is the live link through myspace and since your friends are not very targeted they may not visit the site, but still try it out and let us know how it goes :)

My*Space is awful for sending traffic to a blog of that nature. I tried like hell for months and could only get about 30 visitors on a good day.

Do people click anything in Myspace these days from bulletins? I'm thinking about building a profile of about 1000.

I have a 33k profile and tried it a few times by posting referral links but didn't get me more than a few $$'s...ever since the exit warning page came out friends dont trust randoms "updates" on ms, so unless you take the time to befriend them all and gain trust....you wont get too far.

has anybody tried adding setting the target attribute in the link to target="_blank" ? this bypasses the myspace warning by opening the link in a new tab or window. this might improve click through. :) i didn't get into the myspace game before the warning was implemented, so let me know if this makes myspace profitable again.

Something as controversial as politics (especially with the economy the way it is) might be a problem on myspace.
I have not ad a lot of success.
Let us know-

I haven't tried the target="_blank" linking...might check it out :), I also heard you can link to your site through one of myspaces "trusted" domains like google translator:

translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fyoursite.com&sl=en&tl=en&hl=EN&ie=UTF-8

You could pay people on dp to send your bulletin of choice to like 147k friends for like $5.

I stopped fuking around with ms over a year ago but I can't imagine they are still that stoopid to let this work. Are you sure about this?
