Have any of you ever purchased advertising on MySpace? If so, what did it cost you and what kind of ROI did you see?

Something I was looking into myself. I am thinking of requesting a media kit from them.

I asked Rob one time, he said it didn't convert.

But, he also said that he may have been pushing the wrong offers.

I requested info from them earlier, I'll post whatever general info they send my way here.

Some usefull information to hold us off untill we get a reply. I had asked for them to call me so maybe I will get some pricing a little quicker.
If you know where I can find some reviews on thier approved ad servers please let me know.

I actually spoke with them about a year ago. At that time I believe it was a $10,000 minimum to advertise with them. They can very specifically target the audience you want. But you pay them per impression and I was scared to invest that much money just to try it out.

Didn't know how good the traffic would be. I was gonna run a zip code campaign and if it did profit for me there was a chance that it would not have converted well for the merchant and they might not have payed me. So I choose not to do it.

I can't speak from personal experience, but I know somebody who did very well with an incentivized offer last summer. He brokered a special deal with the company to avoid shaving issues and the like. His ROI was also not necessarily what most black hats are looking for. I think it was around 45% on a $20-30k investment. If I remember correctly, conversions were slow and steady, but the leads were good. Just food for thought.
