I’m curious whether anyone has experimented with using Myspace as part of a broader brand-building strategy. For example, could a musician, creative professional, entertainment brand, or niche business use an established Myspace presence to reinforce their online identity?

Honestly I think it depends on the audience. For the right niche having an active Myspace profile could actually help with brand recognition, even if the traffic isn't huge.

I work in graphic design, and I’m also quite active in specialized communities related to this field. When it comes to Myspace, I think it can still be worth investing in brand promotion if you focus on a specific niche.
