I have been posting videos for about 6 months. I am not getting views, what should I do please help

Like @proxygo wrote here, patience is the key. try to improve slowly from day to day
Improve the quality. Also if you have a channel in less competition niche, then chances of getting viral is more.

Have you tried advertising your video outside of youtube? Like other social media platforms, blogs, forums?

i have 200 shorts + 600 long videos
and my channel is just for fun

I dare to say that 99% of all videos on YT do not receive visits, or receive very few visits, so it is nothing unusual what happens to you.
In YT only 1% of the channels and videos are successful, the rest is lost in the vast sea of videos that are published daily on that platform.

That is the problem being faced by most creators now. That is why I suggest everyone to get a good job first and do YouTube as side hustle. When you see good success in YouTube, you can then quit job. Chances of success are very less on YouTube now.

Yeah, but I see many new channels made in december 2023 and january 2024 and they already got over 1000 subs and monetized and earning like 50-300$ a month.
And have thousands of views.
And most important: the videos are extremly simple and use AI voice.
You can make these with Python bots
