My YouTube Journey

Hello everyone.

I'm 24 years old and i'll make a short presentations and i'm making this thread to keep me focused.
I'm new in marketing stuff and since 1-2 week i'm a deep learner.
I know already a lot of stuff on web on general, i'm a self-thaught web/software developper ( since 6 years ), i do this because i love it.
i never really go in depth in internet marketing and now i want it.

So for starting i cleaned my entire computer, read some books, setup a clean environment,
removing all games on my computer and all useless stuff and i'm fully focusing on getting money ( for the last 2 weeks ).

For getting started i will setup something i know a little bit and something i already made some money about it : YOUTUBE.
There is a lot of method and blabla, i don't want to focus in guides with this websites.
I have a larger project and i want to start little ( my mind is very imaginative and i have coded several tools to lead to it )

== DAILY WORK ==

Now everything is completed my job is to upload ~6-10 videos per day in my youtube channel.
every video will be softly watermarked.
I already got all videos ressources, some of them will be grabbed from youtube and the others downloaded.

My job right now is to get traffic step by step and see my channel growing but i know i will have a discutable content
so my channel can be shutdown, currently it's not an issue and when my channel will be big enough i would have a
solution for it.

Investment is part and parcel of any journey. How much you have invested for these journey.
I think 1-2 week learning is not enough to be an YouTube expert. I think if you can carry on these journey about year then you'll able to learn more things.

I haven't much time today, but i was able to have a fully operationnal script ( see below ) and
i started thinking about the next days wich task i needed to do first.
So for starting i will try some traffic exchange site to boost slightly my views ( for beginning just 10-15 views per video & per days ),
i don't want to be greedy so i go slowly to figure out what i need to do and what i must not do while i see my channel growing .
It's a slow start because i have a lot to learn, i will be productive every day, for me it's full time job now.
Be my guest for advise me or asking me anything =)

== ADDITIONAL CONTENT ==

I wanted to make a script able to grab a youtube video and watermark it without using one hundred tools.
I share it with you it's really simple and do the job, i think the script getting through every exception it encounter.

For the watermark logo i suggest 1400x180px and you can adjdust the scale for every video format ( 1080p , 720p .. ) and
you can modify the overlay position ( top-left , bottom-right .. ).

You'll need to put script anywhere you want, have PHP and FFMPEG installed in your system.
You can also use it in windows ( wich i do ), download ffmpeg windows binary in the same folder as the script
and put php in environment variable path ( google it ).
And also put your matermark.png in the same folder.

Thank you dude, the videos length will be betwin 1:00-10:00 min in average.
My investment is really basic i don't really need fancy stuff, currently
i just invested in one domain name ( 1.19? ) and i don't think i'll need to put more money
because the only things needed are a domain and several accounts in social media sites
( maybe i reconsider if i need something else ) and if i need tools i can code them myself.
For the last point i'm clearly not a youtube expert but i think i have the minimum knowledge
for getting through this journey and i agree with you, experience come with experiencing \o/.
and english is not my main language sorry if you misunderstood me for the 1-2 week learnings i was
talking about marketing stuff, i already have some little knowledge in youtube ( i earn like 400? 2 years ago ),
i clearly know 0.5% of marketing for now, the stuff i learned was about creating some network (ifttt course) and some pdf's
( i gathered few gb of data atm ) i just have to learn and do stuff now.

I thinked about get some pictures gallery and do some regular posts with it, so people will more think it's some
legitimate account.

Another things will be to have more accounts in anothers social media sites.

I mean how do you make your videos unique?
Because you wrote that you scrape videos from Youtube...

I really think that new youtubers don't have a chance. My friend have almost 800 real and directed subs from ads and just lost money, he needs much more. The only thing that can work is spam.

Everyday we have tons of new videos but the population is the same.

You need much more videos.

The fact is my videos aren't unique it's grabbed from other people who themselves grabbed from others

I don't agree with you at the facts new youtubers don't have chance because it's based on your judgment and the reality is there's a lot of new youtubers stand out from the crowd.
And i'm not a lot of new youtubers i know that, but my content type is lot watched niche on youtube from what i see and my experience ( 2 years ago i created a youtube channel with that same type of content and in 2 month i earned 200$ with adsense but my account was closed because of my adult content , anyway the 200$ was in my bank account and i still have my adsense active ).

And for the last point i agree with you i will really need a lot of videos i'm starting slowly for staying out of the radar, i'm not posting links on description.

Everything i do now is for building a ranking in youtube after 1-2 week i think i will triple the upload posting.

Anyway thank's for your feedback i appreciate your honesty and maybe i'm wrong but i hope not.

root51, what's your niche in Youtube (if it possible to tell) and wthat's the method of monetization you are going to choose?
And are you going to put links in the description of video? Or you want to put it in annotation?
