My wordpress site have some problem

Hi,


Sorry if this is the wrong section but I recently installed wordpress on my website and can't seem to enter it. When I clicked log in, an error saying too many redirect loop.

How can I solve this ?

If this is a fresh install of Wordpress then there should be no problems. How did you install Wordpress? One click install, manual, etc.. If you recently installed a plugin then that could be a cause. You may have to delete the plugin from the directory. Check to be sure the 'wp-admin' folder exists. Sometimes, the folder is moved into a different folder or not completely migrated.

Hi,

Its a fresh installed wordpress, didn't get a chance to log in it to download any plugins. But I'm able to go to www.mysite.com/wp-admin/ but once I log in or enter www.mysite.com I get a redirect loop.

Since it's new I would suggest re-installing wordpress all together. It'll only take a few minutes.

BUT FIRST! Clear your cookies and cache.

If the problem persists then let us know and we can go into further detail. It's probably your hist if the problem persists.
 
Make sure you install WordPress correctly. Try clearing all you caches and cookies and install fresh WordPress again. If it doesn't work, it's because the misconfiguration issue with your hosting provider; I'd go and contact the hosting provider instead.
 
I tried reinstalling a few time already, still it doesn't work. I think I'll try to contact my hosting provider to see if they can solve it.

Thanks for your help guys and if anyone have any more advice feel free to give an input :)
 
Mostly, when you install WordPress, it will set up the folder permission correctly. But, some hosting providers have there server configure not properly to with WordPress files/folders permission. In addition, it might because of the server firewall issue too.

It's only the best way to contact the hosting!
 
Can it be Softaculous problem ?
 
Thanks alot guys, I managed to solved it through manual installation. I guess it Softaculous problem.
 
Try removing the .htaccess file and then reinstall WP.
Before removing the .htaccess, save it. If possible, list it here for us to see it.

If this doesn't work, then contact your host...

first make sure there are no script contains redirect. check on your web hosting under domain make sure there are no redirect to other domain name. if there are still having same issue should request your web host admin to reset your web host
 
I've never had a problem with Softaculous (wonderful software) :)
Maybe it was just a one-time glitch.
