Shit, man. That's bad. Got hacked once. Can you confirm if you have any nulled theme/plugin on your site? Also, you can rename the wp-login.php file to something else so that the hacker cannot log into the dashboard for the time being.
 
damn that sucks. Are you sure you dont have any back ups?

Was it that much content? if not just startover and put the old content back up yourself
 
Contact your host, if anyone can help with this is them.

Been a while since my wordpress sites were hacked, but i remember the host company were the rescue.
 
Pretty tough to diagnose without access to the FTP or SSH.

If your host doesn't have backups, I guess this is just as good of a time as any to migrate to someone else. :)
 
Mate do you have a backup? Or contact your Host might they will help.
Another way, change your password hacker cant login your website.

Do you have backup? Get a new install and check everything, like run a scan.
 
Most probably, this happened because of a plugin. Never use any nulled plugin on the money site.
 
if your hosting provider allow to restore your website then go for it
 
The site was semi important, it hosted some cool hand written content and tools. Just a directory for my services too.

Contacted hosting and no luck! I have access to the FTP though.

I can give it a try i have worked on various wordpress blog as a developer and in past have also fixes some Websites with security issues
 
A nightmare .. going to install 2F security myself tmmrw. Great to see how helpfull the bhw community is
