    So here is my situation...

I had a Wordpress site already set up with articles and what not, let's call this Domain 1.

I then bought a domain ______.com (without www) and transferred it over via cPanel and on my wordpress account, let's call this Domain 2.

Now if i visit domain2.com/wp-admin and edit the settings they apply to the same domain with www. but not to the domain without www. I tried changing the settings so they direct to the non www. but it still does the same,

If anyone can help me it will be much appreciated, thanks!

I think I have found a temporary fix, I just set up a simple redirect from the non-www to the www and all seems fine now.

So with this could I just remove Wordpress completely, then re-install and inport the content?

EDIT: I've fixed the problem, it was to do with inflicting content and such, very confusing, I just exported all WP content and moved hosting and it is all sorted.

You could export and import your website using All in One WP Migration plugin. It will take care of fixing the url for you. Just make sure to use the find/replace section while exporting.

I did it an even easier way, I just used the Export and Import options in vanilla Wordpress.

Can't you just log into WordPress, got to Settings > General and change the domain there to the non-www version and click save? You may need to re-login, go to permalinks, and click save as well without changing anything. It may be that your .htaccess file is set to use www in the URL.
