My whitehat link building method

Hi, I'm not really sure this is an amazing method, nor do I think for a moment it's a new one, but it is a system I don't see people mention all that often around here (maybe because it actually works lol) so I thought I'd share it with the fine people of this forum.

Google Alerts.

That's it I just make sure I've always got my email client up and running, and whenever ANY indexed content containing any of my keywords comes up I'm alerted. I click on the link, post my comment, and 99% of the time I'm the first person to post. You do actually need to be able to type a reasonable comment for this to work, and as far as I'm concerned the larger the post the better so long as you can appear to actually know what you're talking about, but these tiny concerns are far outweighed by the fact that you're getting highly visible, relevant back links that people actually click on.

Or you can use SB to scrape all the relevant blog posts and then post manually on those with high PR.

Do a google search for 'Google Alerts', put in the key word and click create alert.
Simple as that really

1] goto http://www.google.com/alerts
2] fill up the form, put your keyword,email!
3] you will start getting mails from google whenever anything that has your keyword is indexed in google.
4] Then you just goto those websites(which you got in mail) where you post a good comment with your link to get a backlink!
As you are commenting on a page that is fresh/new/newly indexed, webmasters will be active on that page!
So its highly possible for your "good" comment to get accepted, and so you get a probably good backlink from a related niche!

Good advice.

Another way to use Google Alert is to post the "alerts" you received as news on your website (if you have a blog or new section). This would help you get fresh content all the time.

Rememeber to re write a two or three sentence introduction to avoid copyscale and place a link so people can view where the original content comes from.

YEah but these are blog comments which are *almost worthless

You really dont need more than a minute to write a good comment. I think its a great way, depending on your keyword, you could add atleast 1-5 links daily, that really adds up in 30 days

0_inspiration, are you actually seeing some ranking movement caused by doing this?

I've tried this strategy and it had no effect on my search rankings at all. Hundreds of my manually typed comments were accepted across a month or so. I gave up on it after that.

are you positive the site is designed correctly? some sites are extremely difficult to rank period due to the onsite layout.

blog comments work, how much is debatable but they do help with ranking.

will give this a try for about a month and see if helps. Thanks for the share.
