My website is on pages 1 or 2 one day, and suddenly on pages 4 or 5 or lower the next day. Why does it change every day?

Because Google tests different websites for the same SERP position before a website ranks up. If your website is performing better than the other ones tested in position 1 and 2, your website will likely stabilize on position 1 or 2.

Apparently you are looking at volatile SERPs.
That's usually a sign of low competition, or an adjustment to strong signals, etc.
In order to stabilize your properties, you need stable signals going to the page you are trying to rank.
 
Rankings will certainly be affected by algorithm updates and It is common to cause rapid ranking fluctuations

It happens often, as Google algorithms test different sites and check their performances and that's why these shifts in ranking happen. But, it is also important to know if you are maybe making some changes on your site frequently, like updating content, adding some new links, which can also influence the ranking, as every modification requires a new indexing process.
 
If you're trying to rank homepage then yeah it's (Google Dance) more common than a blog.
Sit tight and let them do their job :)
 
It happens often. because of fluctuations or algorithm update. It might be sudden change in your competition.
 
Your rivals can upgrade their websites. New sites pop up everyday. Google's search algorithm needs to take all of this right into account, which can create your Google ranking to maintain transforming

that's fairly normal for new websites,
consider getting some decent links to boost the overall domain authority, that helps
 
Google updated its algorithm constantly, which cause a frequent rapid ranking fluctuations. You must be alert with your rivals
