Hi there, I have a woocommerce shop that I started with namecheap shared hosting because I wanted to make it as cheap as possible.

Since then my site grew a lot and it became super slow. I have done all the basic optimization but it didn't help much, I'm using cache plugins, lazy load, compressed images and it still is super slow.

What hosting would you suggest me to change to? I wanted to stay with namecheap to make it easier. If I change to namecheap's vps hosting will it make a big difference? What about buying wprocket?

If you are earning an income from a website, you need to invest in good hosting.

It's fine starting out and making things as cheap as possible, but once you are making a profit- REINVEST.
 
is your website making any money?If yes then just go for an amazon EC2 or Digital Ocean droplet. They are super fast and can help you a lot. It's just that you might have to hire someone to set them up.
 
I could have a check into your website and optimize it (if possible to my knowledge) for free.
 
OP you should post some screenshots from speed tests. You still probably need new hosting but there are many tweaks you can make to Woocommerce to make it faster regardless of what host you’re on.
 
Gotta profile and see where the bottleneck is. If you gotta systemic bottleneck you can buy the best server out there and it won't help much because the problem will return.
 
Number 1 factor in the speed of the website.
The WebHost.
No matter what cache plugins you use if your webhost lacking in response time or slow bandwidth, you cannot do anything.

My website is averaging 200 pageviews per day.

Yes it is making money and I want to invest in the best possible setup, that's why I was asking, I want to choose the best option.

On google pagespeed insights I score 12 for mobile and 49 for desktop. I've done all the suggestions I could fix with plugins and so on.

Would you reccomend namecheap vps hosting or should I change to another one?

I like to have cpanel cause it's very easy manage a lot of things, and I'm afraid to change the provider of the host because there is a lot of information I can't loose.
 
If you want the best possible set up, then you should be leaning towards a dedicated server.
Thing is, VPS is also a shared environment like shared hosting, and similarly, it can also be oversold. Depending on your VPS config, this could be a sequence of disasters that will see your site even slower than it currently is (although very unlikely) especially if you do not have the experience to manage a server.
Your google pagespeed scores are horrible. What are the reasons google gives for such scores and what steps have you taken to remedy them?

Here is a quick test you can do.
Sign up with a host that offers refund guarantees (it is nice to contact them and inform them of your intent) and sign up for a hosting plan.
Take a backup of your site as it is and reupload it to the new host. Do not use your main FQDN but rather a subdomain or free domain from freenom.
After uploading and the site is functioning, carry out speedtests again.
Do this 2-3 times to have a range of results.

If your site still performs in the same manner, the issues are with your site and you will need to troubleshoot all code and databases to find the bottleneck.
If you notice an improvement, then the host is to blame.

if your issue is speed you need as well to take care of your hosting location and if this location is near your customers

the nearer your host (and better their network) to your main customer base the better speed they get

Now for your web host ask them for the limits they are putting on your account
cloudline + cpanel can do a lot of control on your speed like max IOPS max database operations per second , max db memory and php memory etc

So ask them what are the limits they have first and once you know that search for host that has better limits

and please keep away from anything that say unlimited as usually they keep few aspects unlimited but they control your usage through other hidden limits
 
If your content is totally genuine and you dont have copyright issues i would suggest to go for cloud hosting solutions, As KVM Doc said, VPS is also shared so there is no point to upgrade to VPS, go for a good dedicated or cloud hosting.
 
I gues hosting matter, I use a slow one and my google panalized me, lost more than half of revenue because i'm miserly
