Maybe someone gas linked to it without you knowing. You ran it through ahrefs or majestic Seo ?
 
Did you check ahrefs.com? What is on the site?
 
yea i have one domain 2 months old, i didn't do any seo. And it had like 10 links and pr3. Then I started to build more links to it using gsa and it got like 200 and it now has pr1.
 
you just need to dance that you got page rank without any backlinks
 
One of my test sites also is a PR1 (after the Aug update). I did absolutely no backlinking to it since I use it to test themes, message board platforms, nulled scripts, etc. All it has 98% of the time is Lorem Ipsum. Just goes to show how easy it is to get PR1...

yea it may have been the new update

Maybe some of domains are redirecting to it or it can be an old domain. deleted or dropped there are many reasons from your domain can get a page rank.
 
I have 1, 1 month old, website with PR3 and no backlinks. 10+ pages 500+words of unique content though.
