I'm unsatisfied with my current shared hosting account because of high loading times. Can you recommend me a fast shared account?

I haven't tried them personally, but the most popular host seems to be Hostgator. Have you tried them dude?

The fastest one that I use is Godaddy, there are a lot of people that don't like them, but over the last year they have really stepped up there game on server speed and support if you ask me. I am getting ready to move my other sites to the Godaddy server because there load time is way faster on Godaddy. I stopped recommending hostgator because after EIG acquired them there speed has been reduced dramatically.

http://liquidio.net/ SSD shared hosting with premium plug-ins shared ... an extra plus is that the owner is a BHW member

hostgator, undoubtedly!

In terms of speed and availability, no shared host can beat Godaddy servers. I have used them for one year and I was totally satisfied witht he actual service ( but not support / interface though)..

Stablehost, Hawkhost..Both are pretty good. You can give them a try during as they have money back guarantee anyway

I'm with Stablehost now. They are pretty cool. :)

Used to love HostGator and recommend them to everyone, then a few months ago all our HG hosted sites went down due to a transfer to a new batch of servers.

Turns out that was when they were acquired by EIG apparently...site speeds have gone down considerably since then, as well as uptime. We are currently testing other providers, and BlueHost looks the best right now.

Edit: Just noticed BlueHost is owned by EIG as well...back to the drawing board.

Check this list, all of them are owned by EIG:

or else you can take a try with hostwinds

OP, try using cloudflare, it will speed up your sites up to 20x (not aff with them, but it has worked wonders with me ;) )

I would highly recommend Mediatemple (mt). Their service is extremely good and support is outstanding with live chat in your control panel and more..

CloudFlare will actually add about 500ms of latency even though it has CDN capabilities. It would be better to use Amazon CloudFront and Route53 DNS with latency routing enabled. The cost would be about $1.00 a month for both for an average website.

+1 for Liquid I/O if you are ok with a managed WordPress network type setup. With Liquid IO you can expect about 130ms of latency from the googlebot.

I attached a screenshot of CloudFlare vs Amazon CloudFront. As you can see, the mountains are CloudFlare and the valleys are Amazon CloudFront. Cloudflare was as high as 1,300ms!
