this is not yet another guide to get started, it's more likely a case study. I'm new to the internetmarketing, I'll give it a try.
Within the last two weeks I was supposed to learn for my exams, as I am a student of engineering in Germany. But I found this internetmarketing-thing and fell in love with the idea, not to work from 9 to 5. Don't get me wrong, I am not afraid of hard work, but I'm so much better in doing things that I really love.
This is what I'm going to do:
1)Find a micro niche and position my self in there to promote an affiliate product.
2)Find a micro niche and build a great source of knowledge for this topic. Use ads to monetarize that.
3)Write a blog on a topic that I love, build an authority. If successful I will try to build my own list and will promote them my own product.
What has been done:
1) Keyword research. Found a niche with 5400 exact serches a month und found the EMD. Found a (hopefully) good affiliate product on clickbank. Domain and hoster purchased.
2) Nothing
3) Nothing
What bothers me:
I will try to rank high for my niche in order to get as much organic traffic as possible. As far is i know, ranking requires content but how can I integrate content without bothering my salespage?
Should my entrie in google lead to the salespage? Do I need a real salespage or just a page that makes them click on my affilliate link?
SEO:
Diversity is my main goal for off-page optimisation. Article directorys, blog comments, guestblogging( not sure if anyone wants gusetblogs from a selespage?), web 2.0. Anywasy I still have to learn a lot about SEO and the whole im.
