My VPS server recommended me to install antivirus and malwarebyte...

Hi,

I get VPS to run GSA. Currently it consume more than 1gb ram even I don't run anything.
I submit a ticket, and they told me that my VPS probably infected and ask me to install antivirus and malwarebyte. (I did install antivirus but I took off 2 or 3 days ago)
Is this normal? I never use VPS before and now I get 2 VPS from 2 suppliers which cause me to think that it's better to move everything back to my home again.
I have heard good thing about xsserver.eu, are they really good?
Any advise would be really appreciated.

xsserver.eu are not good, stay away is my recommendation. i have had 2 vps with them for over a year. one ip was bad when i rented it (i checked). I use proxies so wasn't worried. they locked me out recently saying i am spamming cause of the ip again. I use proxies and don't have xrummer on it like they claimed. Long story short...if they have an issue they just lock you out so u can't use it and keep billing you. Using blackboxrdp currently and happy, and there are others here that are way better than xsserver.eu. gl

i strongly recommend anybody not to use xsserver.eu. i have tried many many different hosts , but they are really really the worst. their service is not reliable, the customer service is rude and sometimes even doesnt answer. a few month ago they took offline all the netherland vps without warning. all the files on my server got lost for good. they didnt answer for weeks regarding the issue that the servers werent working anymore. they continued taking money from my paypal account without my permission and without any hosting service given to me. the servers were off and they continued to take money. when i asked them to refund me the money for the 5 month i didnt had any access to my vps server, because it was down, they simply said they wont refund me. so xsserver gives bad service and xsserver steals money from his customers!!! i really really strongly warn you, don not use xsserver.eu!!!! read other posts about them and you will see for yourself that sooner or later, you will have major problems with their service.
