My Viral Nova Clone website earns $1000/m in 4months

So I thought I would make a thread to share my journey to all, and maybe eventually help others with theirs!


I am a total newbie to the whole niche website idea, but I have invested some money into building a few niche websites and really hope to make some success from hard work! My goal is to develop an extra income stream which will help me pay off my debts. My investment money is limited, but hoping it will pay itself off very fast.


I currently will have 1 niche site. I am prepared to put all the hard work and effort to build these up as much as possible! I am not relying on just auto-piloting these. I'm searching and posting around 48 articles per day and posting it on Facebook. (2articles every hour).


Here is my plan/goals:


- I currently have 3.3m pageviews in a month.
- I'm getting a minimum income of $30-40 per day.
- Just managed to hit $900 this month.
- Hope to get a stable earning of $5000/month

I think I will need a lot of luck But your support and guidance will be helpful! I will be sure to post my site rankings and earnings where possible. I'm currently using some shared facebook page as my platform and wish to start a new page and using Facebook Ads to build it up. I heard you have to spend at least $500 - 1500 per month on facebook ads in order to reach what Viral Nova did for their site? Would love to hear your replies and contents !

You should be making a lot more than $30/day with 110k page views.

What's your CTR?

Quick question:

1. Your article is unique or you syndicate the content from others?
2. Monetize via Adsense, yeah? Mind telling us your placement & CTR?
3. How much you've spent for that site? And on which part did you spent the most? Article? Promotion?
4. You said you promote it via FB. How many accounts do you have? Did you post it on groups?
5. Any tips on your topic headlines? Which kind of headlines give your the highest CTR?

Good luck! I'm interested to watch how this journey thread will go. Since you already has some fund (~$900), why not spending like 20-30% of it on traffic provider like Taboola, Outbrain..

I'm not selling anything. Just sharing contents on web and earning via google ad sense

Surprisingly, my CTR is only 1.46%. . CPC is kinda low aswell. . Daily pageview average 60k. . Google adsense pageview shows 1.6m last month.

1. I do some minor adjustment on the Headlines and also the contents. . Sometimes i do add extra images into it aswell. . I did a 2 in 1 website which has two languages.
2. I'm only having like 700 - 1000 clicks daily and my CTR is extremely low for unknown reason. . (1.46%)
3. I only spent like $300 for the theme and server.
4. I only post articles in previous pages that i have. . I get around 500 - 1k clicks on each article i post. Sometimes more. . Depends. .
5. Mainly the traffic comes from catchy thumbnails and for headlines, more like Viral Nova style. .

Thank you! But its considered little for the amount of pageview i get.. You could learn some basics and start up right away! Its actually pretty easy!

Yes i do have one in the sidebar and a pop up aswell.

2. What did you do when you were starting to have a lot of traffic?
3. How much is the server cost? What server config /specs you have right now?
4. You're writing the article on your own?
5. Any website where you get your stories from?

Suggestions
1. Read about Google adsense placement
2. Experiment on your ads placement on the site
3. Avoid pop ups, ever!
4. Learn how to maximize your CTR
5. Hire new writer(?) so you can focus on getting new traffic

I'm wondering about your traffic source. You say you own pages.
But how many ?
What's the total amount of people you theoricaly can reach ?
Do you boost your post ?

1.I'm using the theme that is similar to viral nova's theme. .
2. My website is in english and chinese. . totally different contents. .
3. Yes i get paid monthly via google ads
