My video disapeared from suggested section ?!!!

Hello BHW, one of my videos was ranked in suggested section of very good and popular videos but now i've checked it and it disapeared from all suggested sections, i only changed thumbnail several times about week ago to get more CTR and today i see that i'm not in suggested videos anymore, can anyone tell me what happened?

youtube just replaced your video and put on its place a younger video.... Like they have been doing for the last 10 years. Otherwise , we would still be watching the same videos as 2006 .

sorry to say, you can´t do anything about it. It really sucks, we all have been in the same situation.

yes it makes sense now, it is bad that my channel is new and my only hope is to get in suggested videos for some time, only youtube traffic source is suggested videos and people who are subscribed to you, i can't see any other internal traffic source, can you? maybe it also will be good to rank for certain keywords but nowdays in many niches first page means nothing

Indeed, most of the viral videos that don´t belong to big channels, are "viral" as long as they stay on the suggested video column . Anyway don´t lose hope. Sometimes the video can be placed back in a few days, but don´t expect it to last there for long. Wish we could know the secret formula to place a video on the suggested tag.

youtube replaced you, you have to depend on the youtube search visitors instead

My guess is that it's because you made the changes. YouTube doesn't like change, which is why you should leave a video if it's successful. Just last month I edited some text in the description of a video that was getting about 600 views a day (about 200 to 300 views from suggested videos), and within hours the views dropped significantly. Now the video averages about 250 views per day.

I've had this happen other times too, like when my videos were so close to hitting the first page. I'd edit the text in the description and the video would drop further down and never recover. Now I just leave them, unless they aren't doing well.

I feel you bro I'm in the same situation right now I lost all my views I'm losing my mind...
But I'm going to keep uploading and I suggest you to do the same Just hope the best
