First of all hey to everyone, this is my first post so I hope it is in the right place.
Basically thought I'd share with you guys what I do on facebook.
I'm assuming you already have your own website, blog, CPA or whatever it is you use to monetize your traffic, so I'll skip that and get to the point - older people on facebook.
Now, in my experience there are more and more people in their 40s, 50s, 60s on facebook, who know just enough about the internet to use facebook and signup somewhere but not much more than that. The only thing is they've probably been warn about viruses and flashy things and ads and stuff, so make whatever you're doing personal, local and serious looking. Another thing is, people here are very behind on internet etc so if you're somewhere where even older people know what and how to do on the internet, find some very rural area and act as if youre based there.
Think very locally. Your own state, city, or even part of the city. What do these people need, what's the topic trending right now etc. My point is, there's no special niche to make everything great, just think whats happening where you live right now - they all read the local news, you might as well do too.
Enough of yadda yadda, basically what I've done is created a fake account of a senior person, made it look very real and local, added a lot of people of my fake age (basically find your parents/grandparents/neighbor on facebook and go through their friends list, it's really not difficult and they will accept you esp if you have a local hs/uni listed) and created a group for people looking for jobs - now this is a thing where I live as there's very few jobs atm so it's easy to get people hooked. Add people to group, be mature and nice, tell them to add anyone who they think might need it (they will, trust me) and post some local job ads if you want, and after a while start introducing your own CPA offers - now, here you might wanna make other accounts and post under different names so it isnt always the same person posting tons of offers.
When I said there was no special niche, I meant, you can post whatever you want in these groups - for some reason, they dont mind the discussion about news etc - so, whatever you might think your locals would be interested in buying/reading - post it. Post it on your wall, in the group, etc. The thing is, you will join, they will click everywhere.
Where I'm getting to, is that it took me maybe 2h to setup this, the group I'd posted my CPA offer to had 76 members and 39 of them signed their email on my CPA offer on my website. That's more than half. I then posted in some other groups, posted some more, and at the end of the day I made just under 100$. I get that this will eventually stop working with these particular people and I'll move onto the next group, or just expand this one as much as I can.
Sorry for the now long text, and I understand the job thing in particular wont work for everyone, but as I said thats a thing here where I live and too many people are unemployed and desperate. Just do some quick research about whats trending among older people where you live, but you probably know what people in your area need already, what they're desperate for, or it might just be getting their teeth fixed or it might be viagra, or a vacation somewhere, just make it very personal and local and you're good to go. I'm putting so much emphasis on local because when people read my headline before the link how theres a job/offer/discount/whatever at a store/company they know about and they are close to, they are much, much more likely to go ahead and signup, even if the landing page has nothing to do with it or is vague about the offer.
((((you're obviously not gonna get rich from this but it's a nice bonus))))
