there are other tools for targeted following...so you don't have to buy getmoretwitters! it' up to you, moreover you don't have to buy anything there are free or cracked programs to do this work

Hey congratualtions on your success.
I tried this using this method with CPA products which were free trial offers, require credit card for shipping (you guys know what I mean) with much more followers on 2 accounts with 2 different products.
Result = $0
I might try this with a range of different offers and see if I get any joy. I was using make money products, maybe not the best to start with.

Haha you know what, I shared a method that is getting me anywhere from $60 - $200 a day now and is working consistantly. I really dont care if you use getmoretwitters, hummingbird, tweepme, Whatever it is you want to use i really dont care. and HOW DARE YOU accuse me of promoting get more twitters when I didnt even post an affiliate link. I was sharing my method and letting everyone know what program I was using to automate all of my following/unfollowing people with keywords.
It's important to me as a marketer to free up my time so i can work on more important things to make more money than to set in a forum and bitch as to why im not making money. I think everyone would agree that having a tool to automate everything (weather its twitter, myspace, seo, articles, etc.) so they don't have to waste their life manually doing task and following untargeted people that will not get them results.
I'm here to help others who take ACTION to make money. Twitter is so hot right now you could sell a ketchup Popsicle to a lady in white gloves!

Alright guys,
Here is my updated method seems to be working EXCELLENT and My sales are getting better. I got an idea from a thread i saw on here the other day but cant seem to locate it with a newspaper article..but just threw a twist on it..
Okay so now on with the method, do everything as stated in my first post except make a custom landing page for your product/products in the form of a newspaper artilce. Here is a link to the wordpress page to show how it will look...

Basically at the top of the page put a header such as "New Acne Cream Cures Acne within 24 hours As Seen on Oprah/cnn/msn etc.."
Then put an image with oprah and some sort of cream (this is not hard just google it)
Now put a custom article and banners on the page pointing to your affiliate product and make a fake newspaper name. I would show you my page but want to keep my sales funneling in.
It takes a bit of time to make the page so I would first direct link or make a simple landing page then when your product converts throw up something like I have stated above. To the viewer the source looks reliable and believable.
In Twitter I used headlines such as:
"New Oprah Acne Cream Cures Acne Overnight. See Official Story Here"
"Oprah Is Giving Away 10,000 of Her New Acne Cream! Read Here!" etc. You get the idea
Here were my stats for my clickbank sales from the 12th
1753 Targeted followers
191 clicks
3 sales

I spend about 1 hr a day total on twitter. All of the adding/unfollowing/ following back is pretty much automated and outsourced the postings for .05 per unique post with a link to keep the headings fresh... Hope this helps
Awesome work dude, this is totally do-able for anyone who is wondering how hard it is. There are heaps of tools, sites and software out there to automate targeted twitter followers, you can get a 1000 in a few days and then just do what Santorini is doing and promote on a daily basis. I'd also recommend creating multiple accounts for different niches.

well im getting hops no sales yet only started this an hour ago though 171 hops no sales off 4 new accounts just started adding followers...i believe this method will work as with most things in IM its a numbers game the more traffic you send the more sales you will get just have patience and build up your followers.

I've went through 8 different products before I made a single sale with this method, but once I found the product that converted it seems to be converting pretty well. I than expanded out and put more effort into it by building a custom landing page and also have a pop over to catch their emails for follow up emails.
Another method Im thinking of implecating is try a virtual agent telling them that there is only a certian amount of product left before they cant get it again...(not sure how this would work but going to test it out)

I suggest you give it some more time. Distribute your campaign over 5 or more accounts, don't try to do all your sales with just 1 or 2 accounts.
Are your followers well targeted ? Before I start my mass-follow routine, I generally go to hxxp://labs.google.com/sets and key in my main keyword (which is weight loss in your case) hit enter & I get a set of relevant keywords (like obesity, health, fitness, nutrition etc). Make sure you use all of those keywords to find followers as well.

Last week with i tested CPA products on Twitter traffic . There was about 2500 clicks and 0 leads/sales ...for other product i got about 5 $ ... yeasterday i runned next campain and from 100 clicks i got 2,4 $ ...next dating about 200 clicks - 0 $ everything depends of product that you promote ... so lets TEST TEST TEST ...
