I'm finally getting organic traffic to my authority blog. I'm on page 1 on Google for a pretty big keyword and I'm getting around 400 visitors daily. Now that I've finally had some success with what I thought was the most difficult part, getting traffic and climbing SERPs, I'm not earning a cent.

I'm in a non-pornographic adult niche and I have a few reviews with affiliate links and some relevant, useful articles. I'm not quite sure what to advertise or what networks to use. I feel like I'm so close now but yet so far away and it sucks. Anyone got any pointers? Anything helps really.

    Thank you

Is your website cluttered with multiple avenues the visitor can take?

You could work on focusing it around converting. Bringing more attention to what you want them to do.

I wouldn't say it is cluttered with multiple avenues, but there is a quite a few words before I actually "get to the point". Maybe I should make it more apparent earlier on the page? I just don't want to make it look too spammy. My bounce rate is quite high as well and I'm not entirely sure what it's telling me.

Either way, thanks for good advice

It's all in the keywords you use and are getting traffic from. You need buying keywords to get traffic that converts.

This statement suggests that your keywords are not targeted enough. You need to put yourself in the mind of your visitor, what were they searching for when they found your site and most importantly were they looking to buy something?

Make the affiliate ads right upfront and center ABOVE the fold. And make sure they look decent. If you're not creating a mailing list, your #1 job (and ONLY job really) is to get them to click on the ad, period. Run numerous ads. Test test, split test and retest. And when you're done, test again. Find what works. If the niche has REAL products, lay them out there front and center. DO NOT try to "blend" them into your content. PUT THEM RIGHT UPFRONT.

    Good luck.

So your visitors do click on your ads but from there it doesn't convert or they simply ignore your ads ? What's the geo location of your traffic ? That matters too.

You need to stay your visitors sometimes on your website. Make some out of box thinking and set your website with more interesting and engaging to your visitors. The conversion will be automatically increased how long they would have stayed on your website.

What is your monetization method? Ads/Affiliate/etc? If you want you could PM me the website and i'll give you an honest review and some tips (for free, of course).

Are you providing the affiliates on the "useful articles" you mentioned? That may be where a lot of you traffic is at.
