Hi there!

My traffic began to fall on one of my sites in the end of August, now has a little bit stabilized at 200 unique visits a day( before 300 average, up to 400). Do you know why I lost traffic? I think I lost positions. What should I do to bring them back? Yes, I haven't been publishing on any PBNs...

And now the second site.... Last 3 days I saw a fall in traffic. Same as first site, I haven't done any blackhat...

Please, can you help me?

My linkbuilding: social signals, web 2.0, comments, article marketing...

Webmastertools now search console will show you if you lost rankings.
Part of the traffic loss also might be also due to weather / seasonal ...

If you do a lot of outbound, but not enough is getting back in a natural way (people share your link, like it etc) then google might consider your site to be not as valuable as other sites. I would look at the analytics data like bounce rate, time on site etc.

Just keep on doing what you're doing but try to improve your strategies. nersande's right. Sometimes, the amount of traffic you get can depend on the season. It really sucks that it's not that stable.

You think you lost positions, Have you checked it by tools? I think if you want bring them back, You should do more quality links.

You want to know the secret to SEO?

MOARRRRR LINKZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you made the slightest change to the ranking pages? Like try to optimize better for a keyword? anything at all?

Lol
so this could not be constant and permanent so go ahead with more links.
Good luck

No we do NOT know why you lost traffic coz your question is totally vague.

First of all, 200 visits a day does not even consider for a "traffic drop"...

So please tell us:

0) What niche? Is it seasonal?

1) Are you targeting specific keywords or is it a "full of articles site" that gets 5-10 visits per page/blog? (Multiple rankings?)

2) If it's many pages with little visit per page, how are you doing the link building?

3) If it's specific 2-3 keywords, how are you building links?

4) "I think I lost positions"... you THINK??? Are you saying you are not checking your serp rankings at all? Can't really help someone who doesn't do this and complains about traffic drop.

So please be specific and then you'll receive a ton of specific suggestions...

You can check the reason by using webmaster tools. If you are not doing any black hat than the fall in traffic might be seasonal.
You should focus on developing unique and informative content and create blogs. Participate in forum and blog discussions. Make use of social media.

I checked some of things you said here and I found that in my niche August was a big month and probably because of that I had a lot of traffic... I checked on Google Keyword Planner.

I have multiple sites ranking, but 1 is main.

I still think I lost positions, and yes, I'm not checking my rankings. Do you have good (maybe free) tool that I can use?

Obviously, I also need to do more backlinks. Do you suggest any good service? (preferably white-hat)

check for all the removed broken links on sites where you had your backlinks from. They might have been removed. This may cause a loss in traffic and rankings. Use the webmaster tools its your best friend in analyzing the specific cause.

Webmaster tool Helps you to check your backlinks and

Built links related to your site niche. Dont built like spam

OP: Could be that Panda rolled onto you. How is your on-site SEO?

I would just continue with creating great content, being active on social media and building strong backlinks. If it was seasonal or anything else similar, it will get back on track soon enough.

Maybe its because of Google 4.2 update. If I were you, I'll focus now on your content than backlinks. I am sure your site visits will increase.

You probably need more quality links and the reason for the drop was most likely because of an update.

Since you are not doing any black hat SEO then I do not think it is related to Google 4.2 update .. It is difficult for us to guess the reason but try to look at webmaster tools .. and find out which source of traffic was affected .. then find out if you have recently changed anything related to that source

Hey guys, now a little of time has passed. What do you think? I think it's a penalty?
Maybe too much aff. links pointing out? Should I add more links to authority pages? Help me
GA traffic loss 27.8-26.9.jpg

Its not penalty)) You will understand when you have penalty))) One day 15000 visitors and 0 at another
