I can't agree. SEO'14 is built on content, natural links and high-quallity technical SEO. That is completed formula.

That's is why experienced web developers run PHP through C++ for extreme speed just like Facebook does. Also, experienced web developers can cut off plugin when there are useless options.
 
Hmmm, some kind of caching scheme also works(but not to the extent what facebook would use). PHP 6 is gonna rock when it comes to speeding up things. ;)

I think, above all, the most important is the content. Do not you have good content, just everything else is ineffective.
 
the first principle of On Page SEO in wordpress is : use as less plugins as possible.
that's my opinion.
 
I also use one of the Firefox add-ons that saves a web page in .pdf format. I find it incredibly useful when there's a site whose design I want to "borrow," or when I see some good ideas on a site I'm visiting. Bookmarks are useful, but having a .pdf file on my hard drive is almost always better.

Yes great tips. fresh and unique content are very necessary for SEO purposes today in 2014 and also good and high quality links are also important.
 
These are very useful tips for SEO but I think SEO is now more focusing on content and quality backlinks in 2014.
