- Has anyone experienced tracking errors or missed events on Pixel TikTok lately?
- Has anyone noticed that Ads Manager reports one thing, but the actual number of orders received is different?
- Is the data delay issue getting worse?

I haven't experienced this yet. TikTok's ad management seems worse than Facebook's, orders are being returned but the data hasn't been updated in the ad manager. Compared to Facebook, i prefer Facebook's ad manager because the data updates are less inaccurate.

I also find that Meta has algorithms that are optimized for users.

Reality is, tracking is kinda broken across all ad platforms now, not just TikTok

Even if your pixel looks fine, TikTok might not receive or match all events properly (cookies, attribution, etc.)

Best you can do is double-check setup + rely more on actual sales data, not just Ads Manager.

delays also feel worse sometimes especially on new campaigns. nothing really broken just messier tracking overall. best move is double check with your backend data not just ads dashboard.

Yes, you are definitely not alone. Many advertisers are seeing these exact same issues in April 2026. The gap between what TikTok says and what actually happens in your Shopify store is a common headache right now.

This is quite common with TikTok ads, data mismatches and delays often happen due to reporting lag, attribution windows, and tracking gaps like ad blockers or pixel issues, so it’s best to compare with your actual backend data and optimize tracking setup for more accurate results.

tracking errors are usually caused by iOS privacy restrictions or server side lag, making your dashboard show fewer orders than you actually received
