[My Theory] Does traffic affect Google rank (SERP)?

I was building backlinks for my new site today and I asked myself why should Google consider these backlinks if no traffic is coming to my site through them? This is a very easy way for Google to make the difference between natural backlinks and SEO backlinks. So I'm blasting tons of content and backlinks but there is something missing in the picture. Real visitors with Google Toolbar, Chrome (or whatever) clicking on my backlinks and staying as long as possible on my site!

Traffic is important, but with a different angle. I will explain how it works.

Traffic from links doesn't really matter. The only time traffic is important is when it comes from Google organic search.

Example:

Your website is #5 for "keyword 1"

If you website is clicked more times than website on position #2, your website is becoming 2.

Exampe 2:

Your website is #10 for "keywords 1", but your bounce rate is lower that website which hold 2nd place. After a while your website is becoming #2

For the links as Matt Cuts have said - every links count and I agree with that 100%

Yea its actually more about the CTR rate on your position rather then relevancy between backlinks and traffic...

Google might set you on a higher position for a while after you get new backlinks but if your descriptions and title doesn`t attract the visitor to click on your domain then you might get even on a lower position then you were before optimizing.

Yes, I know bounce rate is very important. I hope you're right about the "Traffic from links doesn't really matter" part.
Isn't it logical for Google to give more value to links that get traffic?
