Hi everyone, I’m really confused about Telegram’s reporting mechanism. I never upgraded to Telegram Premium, and a long time ago, my account was already restricted to sending only one new message per day. Still, I slowly managed to contact quite a few advertising partners with this account and successfully closed some collaborations. But two days ago, when I opened Telegram, I found it frozen. According to SpamBot, it was reported. I filed an appeal, but it was rejected—my account is totally gone. What’s worse, I still have two paid advertisers waiting for me, and now I can’t even continue the conversation with them! It’s so frustrating. I was just normally discussing collaboration opportunities—no promotional spamming or anything… Why was my appeal unsuccessful?

Your case is likely to be rejected because Telegram considers the account to have “spam-like” behavior (sending mass messages to strangers, having many people click “Report”), and their review mechanism is quite rigid, often unable to distinguish whether you are offering genuine cooperation or advertising spam.

Yeah, Telegram appeals almost never get reversed. Happened to me too. Safer to rebuild a new account and keep convos private.

Telegram sometimes limits accounts that are reported or inactive. Try reinstalling the app, log in again and check if your number is flagged. If the issue persists, contact Telegram support via @spambot to appeal.

Always try to message only people who are expecting your message. Keeps the account safe. Sorry about your loss.
