Hello! I recently got ownership of a subreddit , however I encountered an issue that when people click on my post from google search from mobile, there is a pop up message "This community has not been reviewed and might contain inappropriate content for certain viewers. View in the Reddit app to continue". My subreddit is not related to NSFW, it's about products and I have no idea why the message is showing. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Go to Mod Queue and then check if your article is in the "Needs Review" tab. Approve it and it should not show that warning again.

no, it's showing on all posts and they all have been reviewed :/

Even in "Unmoderated" Tab?
yes, in all tabs everything is fine. I got ownership of this subreddit recently and it is very old. I don't know if I should keep using this one or create new, because many people won't click on the content I post because of this

I do not seem to get that warning when I enter your subreddit via firefox incognito. Maybe it has resolved by itself? Assuming of course that your subreddit is /r/bestpurchases.

It comes up from mobile

Ah yes sorry my mistake, I tested on mobile and it shows it, but only if I am not logged into the app it seems.
I am not sure how can you fix that they really want for their users to register and browse reddit via the app. The good thing is most reddit users already use the app so I am not sure how much % of users will see this warning, but I assume not much.

yeah, but since my subreddit is for affiliate I feel like it scares some people away

Why dont you post in /r/modsupport or /r/modhelp to see maybe someone had the similar issue and can help you.

this is what they replied to me, just curious if anyone has gotten over the issue and is it actually fixable

"This pop-up is tied to an activity-level threshold. Once a threshold has been reached with some daily traffic and weekly post activity, the pop-up will go away. Exact criteria can't be shared but it'll just need more activity that may take some time. Our recommendation is to continue growing your community with active post activity in the meantime."

Interesting, sounds a bit generic but I can see their angle though.
You have lots of new subreddits pop up everyday some are malicious and they slap that warning so that users get a bit scared a get cautions when browsing it.
I haven't seen this warning much it seems like a newer feature. Makes sense now that they are public traded company they need to keep the weird stuff out of public reach and this warning ensures that no innocent person can stumble into some weird subreddits.

Try it their way not all users see that warning anyways so hopefully it will go away soon.

This is a default thing on all new subreddits or subs that were created awhile ago, but have limited activity

This message only pops up on mobile phones, and the sub can still be viewed if you go to Desktop mode on phone.

Reddit doesn't give any direct answer on how to get past this or how long it takes.

It usually takes months of regular posts and viewers. Reddit serves viewers a survey that asks them about the content. If a number of people over time vote yes, the content is accurate or non offensive, this will go away.

Again, no set time frame or amount of people needed given to take survey before it goes away. Most people say it takes months to go away. And if your sub is stagnate and gets no views, it will not go away
