My Steep lurning curve with GSA Software

Hi Blackhatters,

I hope it is ok to start my own topic for my new gsa software. I've been seeing 3 hours of tutorials and let it run for a bit. The test was successful, but my IP got banned at certain websites. I don't understand this because I checked the box to use proxies. I checked almost all of them which was recommended in the tutorials. I use the proxies from the public domain. Anybody knows what happened?

You used public proxies? That's the problem I'd say
 
If I remember correctly, there is another tick box that tells GSA whether to continue posting after the proxies stop working - if that is ticked, then it will post using your IP if the proxies fail. Check that out.
Also, if your proxies are not anonymous they might be leaking your real IP as well.

Also, good first lesson you have learned - the learning curve with GSA is very steep. Make sure you are using it for some sites or properties that you are not too worried about because I am sure you will talk a few of them before you get the settings correct.

Im using it alot lately with success, but there is a learning curve. Working with it consistently is key to getting your head rapped around it. I always run it under a VPN (including scraping proxies). I have several VPN services so I can switch IP addresses frequently. I only use free proxies currently, but plan to expand to paid. I've never gotten my IP banned. I recommend more than one VPN and ones that give you multiple locations in a single country. I used to just use it for backlinking, but now I actually use it make money directly. Using it's full capabilities in combination with other software's took time and is a constant process of perfecting...
 
I use proxies from SolidSEOVPS, never had a problem with GSA
