We recently launched a gaming news and updates website called Max Video Gaming. We used a lot of white hat methods along side some black hat thinking it wouldn't go this far.

We suddenly realised huge rush of traffic is coming through everyday.

Tell me what you think below is the screenshot I just took of awstats:

So what?

Good story....

How much are you earning is what is important !

This is an odd post. More odd when one looks at your signature.

Care to share the BH method used to generate the traffic?

22 year old actually, and legitamate screenshot for an honest opinion not a bullshit "keyboard gangter" comment face to face would be a totally different matter. Anyways, because its a gaming news website majority of the really really fresh articles were approved on N4G.com which keeps bringing in the bursts of traffic. People off there keep liking and tweeting the posts too. Which is causing a viral effect.

(N4G.com is not my wesbite DONT worry for people thinking im advertising its a gaming news aggregator)

If you just started the site in January.

Then these are incredible stats.

What you need to figure out is why are they coming.
Are you offering something, are they just curious, are they buyers, etc.

Are all the hits coming from just one place?
Are you getting traffic from google or any search engine.

Hey thanks for the constructive reply.

Well yes we are getting quite a bit of organic results from Google etc for keywords such as big company names from posts we have made and trending topics simples as that.

The main source of our traffic is coming from N4G which is a gaming news aggregator. Takes approval to get on there and you got to be quick with your news as if its old then it wont be accepted but when it is like ours it brings in thousands of uniques and pageviews.

We also offered two free Forza 4 tshirts which were sponsored by another company called Lygo you may have heard of them and we were tweeting about the give away which brought in a huge stream of traffic too.

I have yet to run adwords campaigns but not had te chance to do that yet.

I personally would not run adwords on it.

I think you have found your golden ticket.... N4G.

Keep on with the fresh content and you will keep on leveraging their traffic.
Soon people will go to your site directly, to see what else you have.

But wouldnt you say that any traffic is good traffic? Although Facebook marketing kicks ass as its alot more explicit to who you want vieiwing the website.

That's great and well done. Can you give me some tips on how you did this such as meta tags, keywords, directory links etc that you used?

I have a general news and conspiracy website with attached forum, My page hits are higher than yours but my unique's are far less. mainly down to repeat traffic.

I would really appreciate the help - Thank you in advance.
