I've been digging around to find out how best to tackle this method so i get the msot seo benefit.

I found this section interesting, especially the top line. It fits in with the results of this case study.

So what do we know for sure?

  • Social signals constitute 8 - 10% of both Google and Bing's search algorithms
  • Sites optimised for social signals seem to get better rankings. Studies by Social Metrics Pro found that the top 10% most optimized sites attracted 360% more traffic with 410% more keywords being ranked
  • Google is moving towards being a "search engine that understands not only content, but also people and relationships", with personalisation, Google+, Search plus Your World and other measures
  • Google updates signaled a shift away from traditional SEO backlink approaches towards content and interaction-based measurement

goran, I think their analysis is related to white hat sites. they are getting links because of social media exposure.

On the other hand we can hardly do this, using fake accounts only.
 
2nd Updates: Ranking increased to 22. As my paypal account get limited, right now this case study on hold, as my paypal limitation will be removed i will resume this case study.

Thanks dude. I followed your Twitter thread. and now I am interested in knowing the impact of Google+. I think it will be more beneficial. Because it's Google's own product.

Unfortunately i am closing this case study as respective website is not in top 1000 after i purchased last google plus service from fiverr.
