My site not in serps even when well optimized?

Backlinks still outweigh social signals.

It's kind of a paradox. Need links to get indexed, need to be indexed to get links.

Just like : Need experience for job, need job for experience.

Last site I made it took 6 1/2 weeks to show up anywhere in big G. And that was after creating and posting an article every 2-3 days for that entire time.

But once it did show up I was on first page for a lot of keywords.

PS...don't make the mistake I did and send lots of links to make the keywords go from #3 to #1, because it will really go to #200+
