my site dropped to second page because....

I have around 20 images on that page....it is ranking around 3rd position, now it dropped to 16th

I only changed few alt tags for images, I think some were empty so I put my keyword inside....
now google penalized my site so it dropped
what to do
I would like to put it back where it was but I cant.....i use media in worpdress for images gallery on that page and I cant revert back

I am angry I even touched it......
is this google stupid or what?

no, i did not change the images, just addded few alt tags inside the images.....images are mine.....

i think i just hit sweetspot before.......and now maybe the keyword density is too big?
But same shit happened before....I have social media links in footer and i added just twitter link....and my site droopped again.....i removed the twitter link and it went back up
 
Tough one to solve. Could be keyword density related, yes.
 
Do you have content too on the page, or images only? If you have content, try adding more words to it to balance out the density.

i told you I just added twitter link before to my twitter page....the page dropped to second page also......
i am afraid to add content, I will drop even further....
 
how about just revert back to how you had it before you touched it, go to google cache or wayback and hopefully your old content is in there.
 
You are having 20 images on one page.
If you have any Photography or other fashion niche blog means it would be perfect.
If you have other niche blogs means you have to optimize the images regarding your contents.
 
OK I used way back machine......I realy stuffed some keywords into alt tags and then my site dropped.....I compared with way back now and I put it like it was before......
hopefully it will work
 
I need to build some links......any idea? they need to look completely normal, not spammy
