The update obviously hit me real hard, my engagement for the past 2 months has dropped from 5k per photo to around 3k and my followers growth, well... dead. I used to gain 500+ per day now I gain around 50 - 60... My account is at 105k followers by the way and surprisingly I sold a few shoutouts in the past 2 weeks, but all of the shoutouts I did (24 hours posts) - the photos gained around 3k likes, but the people i did the shoutouts for gained like 10 followers? Is it my fault i am thinking or? I really don't have an explanation, thanks for the help lads!

IG algorithm is changing. It's gonna be like FB with boosted posts and so on.

Milk it while you can.

Damn... 1 year of hard manual work down the drain :D

Some people who built up pages with hundreds of thousands of followers now get ridiculous reach.

That's what happens when people invest into a closed platform like Facebook instead of growing their own websites.

Basically FB can ban you right now and all these fools are pouring in money to grow their FB pages can wake up having nothing.

Not really. You're already more advanced that 99% of the IG people who go straight in with bots etc.

Use your skill set, not many can get to 105k followers, manually

There still hope becouse there members still hitting 5k followers a month.....

I agree with you 100%, because whatever happens - your website is still there. There is lots of uncertainty on platforms like Facebook, Instagram etc. I would be interested in starting a website, but in that area i'm pretty much a blank spot lol

Just get a wordpress site at Namecheap or somewhere like that....it's easy, they do everything for you, basically you'll just be posting like you post to Facebook.
