-1 article ( I should really start doing at least 2 a day)
-Fixed up some stuff on my site
-around 20 d0follow comments
-GSA on Web 2.0 Tier 1's again

Still seeing progress rank-wise. I moved up from page 7 to the top of page 4 for one of my keywords. I've started to concentrate on targeting 2 more keywords now. It's supposed to be a bit harder but still doable. For one of those keywords, one page 1 is a couple of clickbank review sites for a pretty shit program so I know for sure I can outrank that eventually.

Traffic-wise not so good. Getting only approx 30+ a day. Based on analytics, it's because stumbleupon hasn't been giving much traffic lately so my primary source is tumblr. It managed to bring my bounce rate down though.
But I really need to do a lot more yahoo answers too since that's been giving me some decent traffic too.

Fuck. I want to cry. I tried doing some security and installing this plugin that changes prefixes. Now everthing's gone.
 
Well managed to get the main theme up and plugins working. Have to reset all settings. But all my posts are freaking gone. Is there a way to get them back? I have a backup .zip format I downloaded for my site before I fucked it up.

Edit: Having hostgator restore the site for me. Hope it actually works and restores everything. So for the rest of today, I`ll take a break and probably lurk around here. Don`t want to make any new links just in case. I have however made some today. Managed to do around 20 forum posts + 20 blog comments. Forum is niche relevant, omments were just some ******** but related to the blog.

Another update: (worry for the multiple posts today) but, I`m on page 2 for two of my main keywords. If today`s situation messes anything up then I`ll be pretty pissed and probably start a whole new blog all over again
 
What was this plugin what did that?

Update:
Hostgator is the shit!! They managed to get my site back and everything's back to normal. Yesterday may or may not have affected my rankings. I went down 2 positions for 2 of my main keywords. Still on page 2 though but maybe it's also because of Google dance?
Anyways:
-around 30+ blog comments (I'm kinda scared it might be too much? Will go back to the 20 range tomorrow)
-found a list of d0follow forums in my niche. Will register to those in thursday maybe. I have a stupid midterm to cram for so tomorrow I can't do much. Also a project due too.
-GSA on tier 1 as usual

I was going to post an article, a guest post and start up a new blog today but school stuff is kinda more important right now. (Education should always be a priority!). Also had to deal with some computer problems. But other than that, I feel satisfied today and extremely happy now that I got my site working again and I definitely made a backup this time.

Well it was this change wp prefix thing and some other wp security where I'm pretty sure I f'd up the settings on both plugins.
 
Update March 28
Managed to get an article for money site targeting a new keyword. I also found more ******** blogs each with PR of 2-6.
Today I made approx 30 blog comments. Still waiting for them to get approved.
Made around 10 yahoo answers answers with links to my blog.
Now I'm going to start planning out my monetization. I've applied to commission junction and they have good products in my niche. No crappy clickbank useless crap (the products in my niche are ALL crap)
Tier 1 on GSA as usual.

So far so good. Still waiting to reach page 1. I'm currently dancing around on page 2 for 2 of my main keywords. Like this morning I was at 11, then later one at 19 then at 15 etc...
 
I've been gone for a few days because I had to go to an Easter camp. There was no internet there so no backlinks could be built.
Bad news, my traffic went from 60 to 22, one of my keywords is at 24 and one dropped to 18.
I'm going to guess this is because of the lack of links being built plus the lack of new tumblr follows since I was gone.

However, I'm pretty free this week so I'll have to grind hard to get my site ranking up again.
 
Update:
Everything's the same on the site backlink-wise.
Still page 2 on main keywords.
Fixed security issues on the site.
Added some affiliate banners to replace adsense.

Right now I'm looking at getting other traffic sources since I'm sitting at only around 30-40 daily now. Most of them from tumblr.
I'll have to make at least 2 blog posts tomorrow since I skipped today.
But for now, my main issue is traffic. I've been posting in d0follow blogs but not related to my niche so that's maybe why I'm not getting as much traffic. Tomorrow I'll look into finding d0follow blogs related to my niche.

Same thing as usual.

However, instead of focusing on dof0llow blog commenting (they aren't related to my niche), I plan to start focusing on niche related blogs for commenting whether they're d0follow or n0follow. Is this a good move?
 
Yeah definitely focus on niche related backlinks because the more you make, and the more you're well known in the niche, you could build some sweet JV's with other bloggers. And when it's time for product creation, all you have to do is contact them, setup a deal, and make some money.

I'm doing the same thing on my thread, so if you want, add me on SKYPE and we could just throw ideas around. Just PM me :)

Thanks! Started to do some niche related blog commenting and some forum replies too today. I don't use Skype so I'll just PM you
 
Good going.

Get a list of guest blogs in your niche and try publishing there. A few high quality links help more than a lot of low quality links.
 
Update:
Won't be able to do much the coming couple of weeks. Finals are coming up.
However, today I've managed to create around 7 bookmarks, 5 yahoo answers and 5 blog comments.
I've decided to add wiki's to my link diversity but I've heard it's hard to do it manually so I'll be using GSA for it. I'll make sure it only submits ~20-30 daily then stop it. I'm currently scraping a list with GSA. (still debating if this is safe or not)
I also plan on adding a review section on my blog in hopes to get some sales. I've also managed to set up more ads on my site (they're just sidebar ads) and applied for more networks in my niche through CJ.

I've also started another tumblr blog but this blog will be mostly reblogs. I'll probably just use this blog to get tumblr followers then once I get enough, that's when I'll start doing the same thing what I'm doing to my current tumblr blog.

I'm still dancing around page 2 for my main keywords btw. I don't know if I'm not building enough links or not but once exams are done then there will be more backlinks. All high quality of course.

I probably won't do another update for a while so hopefully when I get back here I'll come back with good news.
 
Shit well my rankings went down, but my visits went up. I'm on page 3 right now for my main keywords from page 2.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
But I plan to redesign my whole blog like change themes and stuff to make it look even more user friendly and hopefully also to generate more clicks on ads.
I have around 50 cents total from adsense so far so that's better than nothing.

One of my keywords isn't on the top 100 anymore. WTF
 
Update:
Main keywords are back at page 2.
Haven't been focusing on backlinking that much anymore. Only make a few a day now. Right now I'm focusing on social traffic and forum traffic.
I might start a new thread since I'm not going to focus on off site SEO primarily.

Also school is done so I'm going to be posting a new post on my blog everyday.
So far with adsense, I have around $5 total. Better than nothing right?
 
It is awesome to read your progress. What are you using for keyword research? I was going to start using
Market Samuri, but I've read some negative stuff, then I was thinking Traffic Travis, but it won't work :(.
What are you using?

Traffic Travis works. What do you mean it doesn't? Are you using a cracked version?
