Colonel Tuxedo said:Question to Cash about domains: You've mentioned a couple of times that it's better to buy an older domain for this technique - my question is, how much better? How much weight would you place in domain age when trying to balance immediate SEO impact vs. having a respectable/brandable domain?
For example, you could register a new domain with a unique name including the main keyword, or you could buy an expiring domain that was 8 years old and included the keyword but was a long, spammy looking name, and it had never actually been a real site, had 0 links, etc... in this scenario how much priority do you place on domain age for this method of linkbuilding?
I wouldn't buy a long and spammy name even if it's aged. You need to
balance SEO benefits with an resale value. I am looking for two word max
.com domains that can be branded later on, maybe developed into a
leadgen site or a business and sold. Good domain is an investment. I'd
rather invest in something I understand (like domains and websites) than
to stock market where I have no idea what's going on.

I have only one answer to all "why" questions. Because I've tested is and
it seems to work. I don't care about mechanics of how and why exactly
it worked, I only care about results.
