My Second Try

First of all, I'd like to thank all the helpful members on these forums. Some of the stuff you guys have taught me has been crucial to my success to this point. First a background, in summer of 2010 I tried getting into SEO and I failed miserably, never making any money. I went back in early 2012, but I did the research on these forums first, then I tried making sites again in August of last year. It's been a ton of work, but I make much more in SEO than I did in the job I quit last fall. A few weeks ago I was interviewing for some jobs at the behest of my parents and luckily some people were so impressed with my SEO skills, that they offered my company a consulting gig. Any advice for someone starting to get into the world of having clients depend on you, not just yourself? Also, seeing as this is a journey thread, I'll keep it updated on what this aspect of SEO is like for others looking into serving clients.
