My second try with more experience

Returned from my vacation but got ill one day after my return. Will split my free time to work 50/50 on my own projects and freelance projects. My goal is to make at least 200$ a month by freelance wrting to have some money in my pocket for my own projects. My freelance writing clients reached out to me while I was on vacation asking when they could expect me to work again, because they miss my quality. That makes me confident that I easily can make 200$ a month. Additionally I got the possibility to write for 12-18$ a hour the next two weeks so I will try to spend more time on that. Normally I'd get around 10$ a hour as this is the time I need to write 1000 words.

For my own projects I did some keyword research yesterday. Found a keyword that looks promising. It has like 1200-1400 searches and on the first site are 3 niche sites, which I could beat I guess. Moreover there's a youtube video so that's a good sign I guess. While writing content for my main project I will maybe start to work on a site for this too.

I will update this thread as soon as I will make some progress!

Found some keywords with high search volumes for my new project and all the time there are niche sites on page 1 and I doubt that all of them do have a strong PBN in their back. They got solid looking link profiles so there's maybe not even a need for them to use a pbn. I think I really underestimated that niche and if you do it right there's easily the potential to earn 300$+ a month in there. Will try to get all keywords sorted for my content and start to plan which articles I'll write. I'll then start next week to write the articles and set up the site. If there a so many people who can rank this, I can do that too!

Good luck with your journey this time around. It's so good to see that you can identify the mistakes that you made before and are willing to try again and do it better this time. This is exactly how the majority of successful IM's got started and they never gave up until they got it right.

All the best to you and good luck :)

Thanks!

I actually grabbed all keywords the other niche sites are ranking for using semrush and ahrefs. Started to find keywords they don't target after that using keywordshitter and google keyword planner. Do have a huge excel file with all keywords now. Will need to scan through all of them and sort them to my planned content.

Still doing freelance writing everyday. Sold my first 1000 words today on fiverr for a amount of 30$ that will put 24$ in my pocket after fiverr fees :) Normally charge 12$ per 1000 words from my clients so I think I made a good deal :) Will use that funds to pay seogroupbuy for another month because all those tools are fucking helpful. Hopefully I can make some further progress regarding my websites the next week, been focusing (too) much on freelance writing the last few days, because that's actual guaranteed money in my pocket. This is not passive, but I won't complain because the pay is better than in all offline part time jobs I did and I enjoy it much more.

This thread and journey still isn't dead. Have been doing some freelancing again, because I have some bills to pay. Published one more article on my "authority" website. It's going really slow, but it's okay. Did set up the smaller niche site I planned and writing the main article right now. I do have 1.000 words right now, let's see how long this article will be. I'm going to the university now and have to wake up quite early so I've been fucking tired the last few days what really lowered my productivity. Additionally I have to learn, so there's not that much time left. My "authority" website gets between 2-5 UV each day from Google, well that's a start and I'll try to increase that. Hopefully I'll have more in the future to update, otherwise that thread will be fucking lame lol.

Just another small update. Finished the post and published it at the homepage. Changed some things and in the current state it has 850 words. Will produce more content soon. Targeted keywords ranked mainly between 40-90, got lucky that google was willing to index a fresh site with one article right off the batch^^

I was going to write an article about products from one brand, but I decided to split that up into ~6 articles. Each article will feature one product category of that brand and I'll write one about that brand that will link out to those articles. Already wrote 2 of the articles, 500 and 400 words long. Hope I can write the next article till tuesday.

Didn't write a new article, but scraped Tumblrs and found some good ones. Got one with PA 41 and one with PA 33, sadly both of them have 0 TF and low CF. Got lucky yesterday in the evening and found a PA 31 Tumblr with 26 TF and 28 CF. Gonna set this up today or tomorrow, the other ones are already pointing towards my page. Nothing new to report besides of that.

Did setup all the Tumblrs with enough content in my opinion and placed the link. Bought some web 2.0 and bookmarks to it that it'll get indexed soon and my links get stronger. Maybe I'll take a look at Scrapebox to find some new Tumblrs or directly buy them from fiverr or somewhere else. I truly want to make this a success and therefore will aim for ~20 decent tumblrs with nice second and third tier links.

Finished writing my 5. article, totaling 3300 words right now. Added a few ******** and nofollow backlinks from sources like blogs and forums with generic, naked and brand anchors to diversify. Guess my tumblrs have been crawled by google as they are showing the new meta description in google search. My first batch of 100 web 2.0/tumblr has been done and I hope that they'll give a small boost to the tumblrs. I will spam them with some gsa/scrapebox links soon. Additionally worked on all my internal linking and structured everything as I want to have it. Not much so report besides of that, but I try to keep track here more often to keep me organized and motivated, although my updates are quite boring :D

Hey,

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy reading your thread. It'\s tough but I'm happy you're pushing through. That's what matters. GL

Great thread. Awesome part is that you dont spent money and do it by yourself. Waiting for further updates!

Well, another really small update.

Kept pushing a link here and there, nothing to big. Rankings were slightly increasing, but nothing special. Still need to set up 6 Tumblrs I bought. Hope I'll be able to do this in the next ~10 days. Have to do stuff for the university, keep on article writing and spend time with my girlfriend. Didn't have so much time left for this project sadly. I started on Fiverr exactly 2 month ago and I'm working hard on 3 projects that need to be finished that weekend, once they'll be finished, I'll have made a sales volume of ~500$ on Fiverr. I did never expect it to work out so good, really happy with that. This journey mainly is about my niche sites, but Fiverr Money is "Internet Marketing" money too, so I'll keep you guys posted with that. My main goal is to make some side income from the internet while I'm studying and with the bucks from fiverr and my other freelance clients, I'm quite sure I'll reach that.

Good Luck on your journey mate >>>... I seriously Need a Girl friend that can write articles too.. :)
Please tell me the method you using to get more followers on IG ?

I'm using simple follow/unfollow. Could spend more time on optimizing that but my time is already limited so I only increase the limits from time to time. Do have 7 Accounts right now with a total of 32k followers. Will let that run for another few month and think about monetization later.

Great journey.

Thank you!

Small update: Finished all fiverr orders, so I got a few hundred bucks from fiverr (~400 after fees). As i already did some tier 2 backlinks to my web 2.0 I saw some slight ranking increases, but nothing special. "Longtails" (everything with MS < 1000) are dancing between 20-40, main keyword hasn't been in serps for two weeks, but most likely some slight overoptimization. This problem will get solved as soon as I build more links without exact match anchor I guess.

Good luck on your Journey mate...
Did you register and build those web 2.0 manually or probably with some tools... Cos the way you sound seems you doing it manually...:)

I build them manually :) I don't know a good spinner for my language so I write all content by myself and just write some random "I put every detail of my life on a blog but no one cares" posts. I change the design and set up a profile picture and a header picture. That's all I do and I hope that's enough :)

Got another tumblr and wordpress ready, but it takes some time to do everything manually. Will try to get at least 20 handmade web 2.0 on at least 5 different platforms before I start to increase their tier 2 posts.

Didn't know how to find a good expired wordpress so I had to create a new one without any linking power, so the tier 2 will be important.

Good luck with the journey :)
Cant wait to see new updates :)
Thank you :)
