Ok been messing around with SB to try and get the best resutls. here is what I plan on doing and would like to know if this is good....Getting about 1200 -/+ post showing OK and then I save the list....I will check the list after 2 days to give a bit of time for the owner to say OK......After I check the links I will PING the links to try and get them indxed. My question is though if out of say a run of 1200 and I find 5 links is it still worth pinging OR wait to the list grows more? Am i moving in the right direction???

If those blogs were not indexed, how did you scrape them from Google?

Don't waste your time pinging those blogs.

I disagree. I made over 100,000 posts, with 1,000+ live links, but none showed indexed until I pinged them. I waited Over 2 months for indexing, and it never came... I always recommend pinging, it only take a few minutes at most.

Grab the highest PR on the live links, then do a bit of soft SEO on them, these will help anybody in there [ who spammed ] to have an extra juice.

None showed up in YSE or none got indexed?

Pinging helps SEs to revisit those blogs and crawl your links, not index them, if that's what you're saying.

None showed in YSE. I also didn't notice any jump in rankings until I pinged them.

Lol in order to get them indexed you have to ping...Its one in the same. You Ping they will get Indexed. This is the point of Pinging lol so you get crawled and indexed.

So again ;) My question is out of a run of 1200 I check and only 5 are sticking, should I ping those 5 or wait to the list gets bigger IF it ever does?

    judge accordingly

If you want to wait then go ahead. If after a few days you dont see a jump in your sticking urls then ping the ones you got

Its up to you. Either way ping eventually. Some sites could take a while to get naturally indexed, and sometimes not at all!

    Simple ;)

I have not been using the pinging tool at all. Could anyone explain how you are supposed to use it?

not always. pinging just alerts the search engines of something new, but google doesnt index everything that it finds. you have to convince google that its worthy of getting indexed, which sometimes means building backlinks to your backlinks

Don't stress on such small matter. Pinging only takes a few seconds. Ping them and move on.

Like what oinky222 said, getting crawled does not necessary means getting indexed. First of all, those blogs that you are blasting comments on are already indexed on Google and it's just a matter of time that Google will re-visit and re-cache those blogs.

If pinging helps to get your links noticed, by all means, ping all your links. For one, I wouldn't do so because I'm almost always dropping more than 10,000 live links a day, pinging them altogether would raise some issues. Getting crawled naturally would be the way to go, but I do agree that it will take some time.
