My Scrapebox Experiment

Good stuff, will keep an eye on this for sure !:cheer2:
Blast it away !

Great post and thanks for sharing the info.

when you do your main blast to find the auto approve sites, is it to a random site or one you own or a tier 2 site? i.e. squidoo etc.

again thanks for the share

I have another site that is a clickbank review page that isnt ranking anywhere. I was using PPC on the site originaly and making quite a lot of money but google decided it doesnt like the page any more so its just sitting there. So for the initial blasts im just using that site with several keywords relating to it and not worried about sandbox/de indexing of it. From the list of approved posts to that clickbank site i then use for my current one.

Ok so its almost been a month now. I havent been able to do any blasting this week as we moved house and im only getting the internet activated today (i hope). But I did do 3 solid weeks of blasting my website. These are the results so far:

I went from 125 backlinks and rank 5 for my main keyword at the start and averaging 30 people a day to the site with 0 clickbank sales. Today my website now has 1600 backlinks showing in yahoo site explorer and is ranked 3rd in google. I am now averageing 70-100 people a day and have made $50 in clickbank sales in the last 2 weeks.

I have not dropped out of the SERPS at all in the process so far and have only seen positive results. Hopefully when i get home from work today my internet has been reconnected and I can continue to blast away. I will continue to do this until my keyword has reached the top position and then move onto some other words.

Will keep you guys posted and thanks for reading.

Good update and thanks boomstix.

Couple questions for you. when writing your niche relevant comments, what method did you use?
I've tried it a couple times but i don't think i'm doing it right. Do you do it in a have you heard style? thanks for the tip.

Also do you still use the slow post option?

thanks
b

I havent used the slow post method since the first day mate. Im getting 500 approved links when running the fast method each time which for me is more than enough links in 1 day. As for the comments. I have just been writing a general observation about the topic related to my site. For example if it were a site about computer games, I would write something a long the lines of:

It truely is remarkable how far online gaming has progressed. From the early days of graphical MUDS to modern times with 3D interactive first person shooters etc. Online gaming has come along in leaps and bounds and I canot wait to see what the future holds.

Of course adding in synonims to spin the comment and I make the comment a few sentences long.

ok thanks boomstix.

i'm doing the same with fast poster i think for smaller niches the slow poster might be needed. I also save the failed sites o in the future if need be i can go back to them

hey boomstix,

thanks for doing this experiment...glad to see you are having favorable results.

Are you pinging your links after you post a comment or letting the SE's find them naturally?

I am posting a lot of comments but only a small fraction show up in YSE, I guess it takes time if not pinging or posting on auto-approve blogs.

I also recently bought Scrapebox and I'm now doing my own experiment.
I will post my results in a few weeks ;)

Im not pinging my results mate, just letting google find em naturally. Im also getting a small fraction of the approved show in YSE i have 1600 showing where i have gotten about 10,000 that i know were auto approved.

This is good info. Are you solely using SB or are you diversifying your backlinks? Also, are you varying your anchor text or just using the same 1 or 2 keywords?

At the moment i am purely using scrapebox with the one keyword. Before i started i had done some profile links and forum posts but none since starting with SB.

did you search for blogs on that keyword alone or get an auto approve list somewheres?

If by search did you search with each radial button clicked or did you use custom footprint search?

Great thread man! getting some great info! I just recently purchased 2 domains for similar testing purposes so I'm I'm getting a bit out of this thread! :D

Great thread. I am in a similar position. I have a site ranked #5, but I have been getting impatient. I have been blasting away as much as I can every day trying to get up a few more spaces.

I see you have only jumped up from #5 to #3. I'm hoping you'll hit #1 soon because I could use the inspiration.

Keep us updated please.

No i didnt use my specific keyword, i wouldnt of gotten a lot od results. I used one that was loosely related to my keword and yes i used each radial button.

when you talk about the links being approved, are you talking about on the first pass when you do fast comment and it tells you that X amount were successful, or are you talking about the next step, if you use link checker and it tells you how many comments actually posted. I'm stuck at that step right now - which step to run with.

Nah mate its after actually checking that they are there. When i do the run i get a large list that says it has been accepted but then i run it through the link checker which usually leaves me with around 500 that i know have for sure been approved.
