My ScrapeBox Experience - Thrilled So Far

I originally purchased scrapebox 2 days ago. I bought it for only ONE reason...to scrape and check the PR of pages.

I did this because I'm currently making a bot, and scraping and checking the PR of the sites I was implementing in my bot was taking me FOREVER. I bought it, and inside of 10 minutes, I was finished scraping and checking the PR of the pages of the sites I was/am implementing in my bot.

Now, here I am two days later, and I decided "well, hell, I bought the damn thing, I might as well utilize all of its other features."

Instead of just experimenting and playing around with things (as I normally do with software), I decided to actually watch their tutorial videos so I knew what I was doing before I started blasting comments out to blogs and what not.

After watching the videos, the first thing I did (which I just completed...which is the reason I'm writing this post) was mass-auto comment on blogs.

I chose my keywords, selected the automatic scraping of WordPress blogs, hit harvest and it grabbed a bunch of URL's for each keyword (I chose to have it scrape 400 URL's for each keyword for a grand total of 1,600 scraped URL's.)

I then had it delete duplicate URL's and domain names from the list, which left me with a total of 764 URL's to comment on.

Then I typed out 20 different {spinnable|comments} of what I believed to be high quality.

Then, I inserted my proxies (which I purchased from yourprivateproxy).

I inserted the URL's I wanted to backlink to, my email address and names to use when commenting.

Then, I hit "start commenting".

The first round (which took about 4 minutes) successfully posted my comments to 236 sites...not too bad of a success rate (30%).

However, it has another option AFTER the first round is completed, which slower, but goes back and tries to comment AGAIN on the sites it couldn't successfully comment on in fast mode.

GUESS WHAT?! It successfully posted (after fast and slow mode combined) to a total of:

688 sites!! 688 out of 764!!! That's freaking crazy! I'm SO happy with this software. I mean, I was happy the day I bought it, but now...I'm really impressed.

I'll be adding more to this thread as I continue using scrapebox (SERP changes, PR changes to my site, my experience with SB, etc, etc.).

Man, is this software sick. Not only was I able to auto-comment to those blogs, but then I was able to click a button that went and checked every URL it just commented on to see if my comment and backlink were there or not.

Now, running this IMMEDIATELY after it was done commenting allowed me to find which blogs have comments auto approved and which ones don't. Now, of the 688 successful comments, only 26 were immediately approved...but if I do this every day or every other day for a week, I'll end up compiling a list of 200 or so sites that auto approve comments.

Then, when I need a quick "burst" of backlinks to a new site or something, I already have the list compiled and can just get myself some quick links.
 
awesome, thats a way high success rate for an automated tool. i just purchased it and awaiting activation, pretty excited should make things a lot easier.

I know right?! I really was astounded. Granted, the slow mode took awhile (much, much longer than fast mode), but I simply did some other stuff while it was running. Regardless of how long it takes though, that is an incredible success rate.

When I bought it, it was Saturday at around 4:00pm and it was activated inside of 10 minutes. I don't want you to get your hopes up as it says it can take awhile to activate, I just want you to know that they seem to be pretty on the ball.
 
What you should do is go "by hand" to some of these sites and check if the comments were really posted coz I saw somewhere on this forum some people saying that Scrapebox returned high success rates but the comments wasn't really posted.

It simply says whether or not it was successfully able to submit my comment (as in: fill in my name, URL and comment and then hit the submit button).

Whether or not my comment shows up on their site is at the mercy of the blog owner and whether or not they actually approve my comment or not.

I just visited all of the URL's it said my comment and backlink were already APPEARING on, and they are in fact there. I'll check all the URL's again tomorrow to see how many of my comments were approved, wait a day, repeat, wait a day, repeat, so on and so forth.
 
@Ibeefaaa - the developer of sbox has been quite clear about what sbox reports as far as success or failure; there's been so many times people have been confused about this it's not really funny and posts like this just contribute to that confusion...one hint for you guys - cookies

@crazyflix - congrats, I think I caught at least one key phrase in your OP about this that I commend you on and that I suspect has helped your success so far:

"I decided to actually watch their tutorial videos"....

good call, so many people neglect to do this and just start blasting away blindly....there's a lot of great info about how to use this app, it's a shame that more people don't take advantage of it

Some software you really can just "take off running", but I just didn't think that was the way to go with this...and I can tell you, had I just taken off and started "playing around" with it without watching the videos, I DEFINITELY would have had less success.

Doesnt mean anything. You may have posted to 688 sites but youll be lucky to see 10% of those links actually be approved, if your lucky. Then all the others will blacklist your ip via Akemist the end results.

10% if your lucky on successful posts
Huge amount of bandwidth used (For those of us living in Australia that means big $$ wasted since here you pay for every mb of bandwidth nickle and dimed.
Blacklisted ips by Amkimst even private proxies getting banned.

So all in all, you've done very little if anything to get ahead. Wasted time, money, bandwidth and getting blacklisted.

You'd be better off finding the high ranking PR's and posting manually on **************** links. Scrapebox is garbage.
 
Well, if they they do in fact ban my IP via Akismet, they are only banning a proxy so I don't particularly care. I've got about 40 private proxies (exclusive and anonymous...meaning I pay for each one and I'm the only one who'll ever use it).

I use them for other things, so even if every blog on the planet bans them, it doesn't really matter to me.

As for everything else you said, I'll have to wait and see. I don't make snap judgements, and considering I just started using it, I'll wait and see if my comments get approved or not and whether or not scrapebox actually helps out my site.

As for "scrapebox being garbage", even if no blog ever approved my comments, that isn't scrapebox's fault. The program did exactly what it said it would do...it scraped google, filtered them, gave me the PR of each one, and then left the comment that I typed out on the blog...the software never said it would get my comments approved.

The other thing is, I manually filtered out any blog with a PR less than 2 BEFORE I sent out my comments to be posted (also done with scrapebox...in about 10 seconds).

So, the 17 that were auto-approved are already at sites that have a ranking in google. In fact, 3 of those 17 were PR 6, 1 was PR 5 and then of the rest, none were below PR 2.

Not really, scrapebox wouldn't be praised like it is if it was garbage. You forget that blog commenting isn't the only thing scrapebox can do.

Yeah it said a few hours, still waiting on it but gives time to watch the videos and such so ill be able to jump right into it.

Let's say I was determined to get my links to stick. Can I use Scrapebox to right up to the point where it posts something, but instead I jump in and manually enter my comment and make it relevant?

Yes, scrapebox is and awesome tool in the right hands. The problem to much terribles are getting their hands on it because its only $57 and going to flame after because they have no success.

I'm currently doing $100-200 per day using scrapebox+web2.0

I can't say enough good things about scrapebox. So for those reading this thread, and considering purchase, i'd say it's an investment that after you use it, you'll be thinking "Wow! Why so cheap?"

It's one of the best tools out there!

if we know how to use Scrape Box, then that tools will give the power, but if we do not know, then that tools will not work with you.

great tools only work with the right hand and the right purpose.

thats my opinion.
