My Road to a $500 loss

This post is not intended to bash any of the tools that I "attempted" to use in order to accomplish my goal of 100 Custom Instagram accounts. It is merely me venting in frustration...with hope of getting some positive feedback.

So my ultimate goal was to purchase 100 custom Instagram accounts that contained posts/images related to my niche. I wanted the accounts to have at least 20-30 posts each (related to my niche) and following about 50-100 accounts. I already had a resource to provide 30-70 followers for each account..so that wasn't a concern. The purpose was simply to make the accounts look real. I really had no intent of ever using the accounts to post/like/follow or anything..so there was no plan to use a tool to login them.

So i found a reputable seller here who double verified the accounts. He explained that he could do this but that he couldn't do more than 5 posts per account or follow much more than 20-30 accounts (if i remember correctly) He explained that anything more than that would possible get the accounts deleted. He also explained that I would have to show some activity on the accounts or over time they would be deleted. With that said I realized that I would have to find a tool for logging in and posting..following..etc. Since I already had MassPlanner I decided to go with it (that was the only one that I knew of that allow you to post)

So I added the Instagram feature to my MP. Next I needed some proxies..it was recommended that I have 1 proxy per 1-4 accounts so i purchased about 25 (I think) from NewIPNow..they were running a special to double up for free so I ended up with about 50 proxies. My first attempt at logging in through MP appeared to be successful but then once I tried to post, IG required me to verify the account. I contacted the seller who reverified the account. I attempted to post again..and MP says that it was successful but the post never showed. I tried several times..still nothing.

I contacted MP..sent error/backup file and he explained that i needed to make sure that the proxy was in the authorized proxy list. I attempted to add the proxy but it never propagated. After some time of frustration I became side tracked and gave up. I begin to think, maybe I should let them age a bit and try later. Weeks later I revisited NEWIPNOw and saw that the Proxy propagated. (I am not saying that it took weeks to propagate..I honestly don't know how long it took..I just know that it took more than 20-30mins. Once again maybe I was doing something wrong..this was my first experience with Proxies) Anyway I headed back to MP and attempted to post again..same problem. I contacted MP again...and explained that the proxy was in the authorized list. MP suggested deleting the IG account and adding it again. Tried that..still no luck...tried other accounts ..no luck...tried to add more proxies to the Authorized list through NewIPNow..same problem as before..they never showed up. I spent about an hour waiting for them to show up and they never did. Contacted NEWIPNOW. Headed back into MP tried about 5 different accounts and 1 by one they all required me to re-verify first by email..then by phone(no phone access). Finally i stopped to avoid losing all of the accounts...and this is where I am now...stuck with about 80 accounts that I can't do anything with and out of about $500.

As stated in the beginning..this is not to bash any of the tools that I used. I'm pretty sure that this was all caused by user error...which is why i wanted to simply buy the accounts fully customized..but then again..I still would've had to find some way to login to at least show some activity. This was just my experience..or lack thereof. Despite everything else, I can truly say that MassPlanner offers great support. Thanks guys

I could always be worse man. I got banned a few years back with 900 in adsense. That money at the time was going to help me buy a used truck. Anyways. Don't beat yourself up, I know the feeling of disdain. Stay positive and continue on. Keep a limber timber and you'll be a hard man to beat.

Many of us have had this happened to us. Take the loss as a lesson. Perhaps try another niche in internet marketing. Any marketer on this forum will tell you that they have failed at least once. Just handle it and keep on moving.

the instagram you talk about is the same as the one we talk about here?

i bought 25 accounts 3 months ago and still 10 of them are idling. who told you IG would delete your account?
and i am still confused how you spent 500. mass planner? i just found on google: $10 for 100 accounts pva. it sounds like someone made some easy money. (50% of the 'dance instructors' cannot tell the right foot from the left. you must have got to the wrong half.)

then again, i cannot laugh at you either. i cannot even register a free .tk domain, talk about something really simple.

I'm very much confused about this post. Also wondering how you lost $500.

OP you might want to format your post properly. A bit of spacing between paragraphs would make it easier to read. sorry about your loss

OP, you did a lot of things wrong!

1. You started with buying accounts. You should have started creating them your own, to get familiar with how things work.

2. You started with too many accounts. You should have created few accounts from different proxy providers to see which ones work best. See how phone verification works, how to verify when asked for phone verification again. See how posting and scheduling works.

3. You were using the wrong proxies.

4. You need to have a way to re-verify accounts when Instagram asks for phone verification again.

I'm not criticizing you. Just telling you what you need to change in order to make things work for you.

Never give up! We all learn from our mistakes and failures. It's the most painful, but the best way to learn.

I priced a couple of people..here and other places about the custom accounts..(custom profile images...posts...and usernames)...all were $250-300 double verified..Another $75 for the Proxies. The IG addon for MassPlanner..i forget exactly how much that was. $50 for the service that i use for comments, likes and followers.

This is how Instagram sees it:

1. Someone created accounts from an IP (they mostly come from Asia/Middle East) with one device.
2. You logged in with MassPlanner with a second device from proxies everybody uses to abuse Instagram.
3. Service for likes and comments uses a third device.
They all three use different API flavours with presumably buggy implementation. Problems with MP are also known.

Now, IG has internal account ranking system. Which rank do you think you get?
